@Hunkyfish20 you should get your facts straight because virtua fighter was the first fighting game to even make the genre popular. street fighter and tekken came AFTER virtua fighter. virtua fighter has always been the ancestor of fighting games, so if anything it is the other way around. plus, virtua fighter has pretty much maintained their character set since the beginning in 1993.

@keaneee17 Street Fighter came before Tekken actually and it was SF that popularized the genre. VF is credited for bringing it to 3D.

@NFLMZ thank you for correcting me...i realized street fighter did come before vf but i have to disagree, i personally think vf made the genre more popular. i'll admit in the medium stages of the genre street fighter definitely took precedence over any other fighting game, but vf was at its prime and got everyone hyped on the genre. then street fighter released an improved version of theirs and went ahead of vf. needless to say they did not copy off tekken at all

@6arcsn1sky They didn't add anyone new to VF4 Final Tuned so I see what they are doing here.

As the "final" revision (presumably), they want to focus exclusively on making everything as refined as possible with what's there. Adding someone new would throw that out of balance.

And anyway, no one in the US has probably ever used Jean Kujo.
