I like how u did this, reminds me of the Dead Space comic they did in "film version"...but of course, u need more actors lol. Still, i think the whole EU after ROTJ is a little overrated. I have been a Star Wars fan since i first saw it when the special edition VHS came out. But i think Lucas should make movies based on events that bridge the gap between the six movies like Bounty Hunter, Rise of the Dark Lord, and The Force Unleashed. Those would be great movies. Besides, its too late for 7,8&9

hmm .. I am surprised Lucas didn't take this down ... but unfortunately .. you didn't continue the series. I understand how voice overs can be difficult especially when there are so many characters.

What I love about Star Wars is how indepth and extensive the Expanded Universe has become and is still growing. KOTOR taking place 4000 years before the Battle of Yavin, the Legacy series 130 after. Even the gabs in between the movies, like Jedi Apprentice, Jedi Quest, The Clone Wars, The Force Unleashed. It's pretty cool. To be honest, I sometimes find myself almost overlooking both movie trilogies at times catching up with all the other stories lol.

i felt like such an idiot when i found out about all the expanded universe and stuff. and i can still remember the first time i saw The Return of the Jedi and i thought at the end that the Sith were finally defeated. boy was i wrong.

And that his true vision and the point of the story of star wars is the tragic rise and fall of anakin-vader as well as the epic clone war teased about in a new hope, showing him and obi as the heros and buddies they were, not always bickering & showing the war on a grand scale w/ many stories, as the films never covered this. kaze117, i do enjoy the EU a lot. I agree it's nice 2 have endless stories regarding the sith & jedi. Even though george & dave or gennedy (both clone war series) &the films, bring as much EU material 2 the screen, makin some EU history canon, in2 his own version outta respect 4 the fans, any EUmaterial not written by george or overseen by him 4 tv, isn't considered cannon. George said that the story trulyends after ep. 6, balance is brought 2 force & there are no more sith, like da books.

Hell the Sith'ari worked for over 1000 years. The jedi chosen one worked for a decade or two..

believe it or not I really don't care for legacy I got kinda tired of how the sith did a rehash and luke becoming one with the force that bothered me I also wish mara jade wouldn't had died/

I don't think that Star Wars would be quite as good if the main characters didn't ever die. I mean, so far both of the Solo men are dead, Luke is on his way out, and it honestly all feels very natural. Without Mara's death, the rest of LotF would be emotionally dead.

Han I can't be sure about. I haven't picked up the second Fate of the Jedi book yet, so I don't know anything about Luke's death, which I'm assuming will not be in it, but could be.

When I mentioned the Solo men, I was actually referring to Jacen and Anakin, who would've been extremely old, but possibly still alive by the time of Legacy. In theory, anyway.

I suggest buying them. There's three trade paperbacks out at the moment, and they are all around $15. A local bookstore such as a Barnes & Noble is sure to have them. I don't think there's anywhere to read it online.
