  • NNEERRDDSSS!!!!!!!!

  • Any chance it could be 190 feet at longest dimension like the UFO radar image from the bottom of the Baltic Sea?

Radar Image sure looks like a MF!

Anybody know what Lucas' official dimensions are?

  • ugly piece of shit

  • CRAP!

  • its not "life" size! its still way to small to move within it as they did in the movies! FAIL!!!!!!!

  • Fans Build Life-size Millennium Falcon, and burn it.

  • More nails!!!!!

  • looks like complete shit..

should have given the money to the poor.

  • Is that Ganja in the background?? The herb would explain this video

  • good project guys

  • They're still virgins to this day. They won't even have sex each other other.

  • I can understand the inability to pull off a nicer looking build, but ripping it up and burning it? next time build w/deck screws and you can disassemble and stack the lumber, no harm done. what a waste of material and pollution to boot....nerds are funny sometimes.

  • U are all jelous

  • Geeks, lol

  • A Life Size Mock up of a Vulcon?? That is what he said!!!!

it is FALCON F-A-L-C-O-N duh...... there is no V in FALCON say it with me FAAAALCON.

  • @sandrathepranker2011 I FUCK'N KNEW IT!!! I WAS LIKE WTF? HOW ARE YOU GOING TO BE A FAT MIDDLE AGED MAN LIVING AT YOUR PARENTS HOUSE AND DEVOTED YOU'RE LIFE TO THAT SHIT AND NOT KNOW HOW TO SAY IT'S GOD DAMN NAME?

  • They should build a full scale Death Star next, see how far they get. XD

  • Also not to rain on your parade but how is this "life size" when the actual ship is more than twice the size of the one you built?

  • hahahah wow.... just wow. and you wonder why some people make fun of you guys....

  • how do all these grown ass men just have the time/money to take off work and build a millennium falcon? must be nice.

  • @angelfoodcakeface Too fat to masturbate, to dumb to date. TIME TO BUILD A BAD STARWARS REPLICA!! What's a fucking shame is this is the only video of anyone doing that. But oh what a gem of video it is!!!

  • I have to say, that is pretty geeky...yet so cool!

  • its not full scale...the falcon measures about 114 feet long 84 feet wide and 27 high/depth. so yours seamed to be only 1/2 scale.

  • LOSERS TO THE 10TH DEGREE

  • @br2jyk you know what these guys are having, fun, there having fun, you should try it some time

  • @tk5800thesecond oh no!!! did I hurt someone's feelings? Are you feeling bullied for them? What's to be done? This is tragic that I said something negative about somebody else? OMG, what a horrible person I must be......oh well.

  • Isn't that Ken guy from a show on the Science channel? Meteor Men?

  • you didn't build a cathedral, you built a "fort" .

  • you guys seriously need to get a life, lose some weight and GROW UP!!!!

  • @br2jyk No, you need to chill the fuck out, go find some other productive way to spend your time other than knocking other people down. Someone who does something is better than someone who does nothing.

  • i dare you guys to make an authentic rebel base

  • geeks

  • @ninoteneves looser

  • thumbs up if u belong to the nerd group who didn't realize this is a joke... isn't it?

  • Absolutely awesome! Although not the actual size, but hey, I'll never make a physical representation of that size. I make the models on the computer. I take my hat off to all of you for putting in the time, the money, creativity and organization into something of this magnitude. Well done!

  • Full-size? Not quite. The Falcon is officially 25m (~80 feet) wide and 35m (~110 feet) long. That seems double the listed stat of "40 feet" in width.

The way I see it, if you're gonna go big with the Falcon, you should go BIG with the Falcon. Get it right. Plan and plan and plan and don't even start until you have it worked out.

  • @SchizoFilms Hehe, still amazing though! I think it actually worked out brilliantly despite lack of planning. I built a life-size TARDIS from Doctor Who with no planning but a single sheet of plans downloaded off the internet. Serious mistake, if I done some research I could have done it so much better, and actually built it to the proper size, but, despite this, I still ended up with a good result, meh... where's the fun in planning lol! :)

  • @SuperRichi1A Planning is half the fun, if you ask me. You can do so much more on paper than you can in wood and steel.

But, I mean, you can't say you built a 1:1 Falcon if it's not 1:1.

  • @SchizoFilms

Planning will get a better result in the long run-yeah.

To be fair though, they're not saying 1:1, they're saying "Life-Size", and, there IS a difference. 1:1 would indicate the same size as the projected prop, whereas full size could include how it appears on screen. Differency between screen accuracy and set accuracy. It's a Falcon, you can go inside it, it's screen-accurate, not prop accurate.

Did they actually make a Falcon for the movies, or just parts of it?

  • @SuperRichi1A They made most of an external set and 2 internal sets for the first movie, built a new, full external set and rebuilt the internal sets for the second, and reused those for the third.

All of them were bigger than this one.

  • @DMISilentSubject1 I think they used their own man jizz versus glue to keep the cardboard panels on...LOL

  • Q: "what the hell is that?"

A: "a waste of time and a piece of fucking shit!"

  • Well, the Star Trek Enterprise for the old TV show was eleven feet long.

the Smithsonian Star Wars Exhibit was in my city some years back, and there was a star destroyer the size of a car, and a Falcon the size of a king size bed.

  • Muppets:

    Pigs in Space.

  • WoW ein Traum ! ! ! Supper ! ! !

  • 1:04 phhh what the hell is that! jabba the hutts version of lady gaga?!?

  • Comment removed

  • Redneck space program is really coming along, kudos to you, no more pigs with crow wings glued on... progress progress.

  • Now you need to stuff it full of rocket motors and launch it with the Large Dangerous Rocket Ship crew...

  • Their effort is a piece of shit and a total waste of time.

But then again the ones in the movies aren't even "life-size" either. You couldn't fit the cockpit interior etc into that thing Han Solo is stand under in Docking Bay 94 for instance.

  • if anything, you will have a Great BonFire! (yaaaaawwwwnnnn)

  • can you go inside it

  • Dont' forget the cocktails and the woods party..rentals for kids MONEY Hopefully Steve will be cool about it.. yoU CAN make it a maze in a field and charge 10 bucks to kids...and smoke and kegger.

  • @grubeci What the fuck is wrong with you?

  • Dont' forget the cocktails and the woods party..rentals for kids MONEY Hopefully Steve will be cool about it.. yoU CAN make it a maze in a field and charge 10 bucks to kids...and

  • Dont' forget the cocktails and the woods party..rentals for kids MONEY Hopefully Steve will be cool about it..

  • Dont' forget the cocktails and the woods party..rentals for kids MONEY

  • Man, these guys and girls are ugly. America is such a huge contradiction.

  • Mentalward is the best name for you guys!

Well... you guys did not give up! I will give you that!

  • what a piece of shit ... how the hell r these people proud of that crap ... no real fan would ever build such a piece of shit ... i think that they be trollin

  • @jaypeeeed Yeah it's got to be a gag

  • Hey it's Randy from My Name is Earl.

  • @ninenyne9 lol!

  • What a handsome group !! WTF ???? The guy in the red flannel looks like a life-size chuckie doll !!!

  • Choking back tears and sighs of "spiritual experience" are common when geeks talk about star wars, which is why they all need to be spayed and neutered since they never use them any way.

  • dang nerds, welcome to wood working, it takes experience, planning, and time

  • Vader calls it the Millinium Fulcon, why?

  • uhhhhh...... am i missing something, or are these people getting seriously misty-eyed about a shoddy looking prop?

it wasn't even finished! a real film prop/set would have detail. that was just flat panels painted white.

pretty bad, i have to say.

  • This is Not Life Sise, The Life Sise Version Measures: 34.75x25.61x8.27 Meters...

    So Yeah.

  • What a piece of junk.

  • @aaronthebaron80 "It gets .5 past lightspeed."-Han Solo :)

  • Look at the people in this typical it would be people that look like that to do this!

  • Looking at the cockpit I have to say that it wasn't life size at all. Large yes but not life size.

  • looks like shit.

  • @shivarudra i want to see you do better

  • I am guessing they also built and decorated the basement suite they currently reside at in their parents house?

  • All the nerds wanna pretend flying through an asteroid field in the "Falcon" OK climb aboard I'll be just a minute spray painting MY BULLDOZER to look like a ROCK. Stay still now....here I come, BE BRAVE.......

  • @matrix49A hahahahahahahah....best reply yet

  • Did they have a building permit?

  • It was a spiritual thing... Haha! common!

  • you think any of these 40 year old virgins have ever gotten laid..by a human...girl?

  • i am a fan of star wars but this is just pure nerdism

  • ooh Gretchen have my children....

  • This video just keeps on giving....

  • I dare you to make the Death Star :p

  • @gadgetine007 That's a lot of refrigerator boxes. Kids everywhere would be denied the chance to built make believe tanks, spaceships, subs, trucks and such....

  • N3RDZ

  • I'm amazed! What a testament to social misfits and arrested development!

  • fuck nerds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That was brilliant! Congrats on building that guys!

  • OMG you're mental migets!

  • I'm surprised they could pull themselves away from WoW to build the virgin-shuttle...

  • "It was a spiritual experience."

  • Tie them all down and force inject the creamy center of twinkies into them until they have toxic shock and die!

  • WELL FOLKS, THAT WHY THEY MADE YOUTUBE !

  • @ART1975CZ LOSERS !

  • @ART1975CZ LOSERS ! you're being generous. This HAS to be a joke right?

  • the best thing ever built

  • What's with all the jerks posting comments into this video? This is a fairly impressive piece of carpentry for amateurs in their spare time. They had fun with it. Nothing at all is wrong with that.

  • why set it on fire, money alone 4 materials, let alone man hrs. you crazy bunch of ......!

  • and what deadline hahahhahaha prolly deadline

  • ROFL hail mary play right their......lmao after it collapsed they just burned it......fucking losers man lmaooo

  • 5:50 not life size, do they really think they could fit 4 people in that copit

  • Great job! You should make stuff for indie films. Striking sets (tearing down sets) is always sad. Imagine how it felt to "strike" the real Millennium Falcon set pieces o_O

  • Geeks rock!

  • Geeks rock!

  • burn it... get a jock to burn it

  • everyone is really fat in this video.

  • why is everyone fat?

  • Guys seriously do you think you could do that .its amazing

  • that's not life-size....how it's gona fit a pilot and a co-pilot in it?

  • so sad...so sad. And where does "Charity Case" come from? I just suggested that they might want to create something a little more lasting than what they built, possibly for others to enjoy, but hey...I had no idea you people were going to get into so much of a fuss about the idea doing charity work or about doing something for people in the real world, not solely for your world of Star Wars.

  • @Banana4464 its a strange reaction to see a group of people follow a dream they had and tell them they should have done something that everyone else would benefit from and not themselves

  • 30 years too late.

  • Nerds! "It was literally a once in a lifetime opportunity." Wow, bud. I can't believe how much free time people have on their hands. OMG, they even buit a wooden frame to make it all that MUCH MORE REAL!

  • Here's an idea...take all that time & energy (not to mention money) to build something NEEDED in your community.

  • @Banana4464

way to shit on someones dream

  • @Banana4464 why dont you build something for your community, what are you a charity case?

  • @Banana4464 oohh that would be what adults would do....

  • i want....

    hahaha

this is soooo cool, and i am super jealous. if you wanna build an X-wing call me.

  • This is a joke or the biggest bunch of losers and nerds to be gathered at one time in history.

  • Don't listen to any hate on this.....

I am sure we've all been inspired at some point, and 99.99% of us don't even act on it.

Easy to Hate, hard to better.

I loved watching this, whatever it ultimately means....I just wished I could've worked on it with you.

  • Sean Leistico does a life size jabba the hutt not too bad

  • Granted, it may not look that good, but still it took a lot of hard work to build that thing that no one here would ever put into such a project.

  • They all look like people who still live with there parents.

  • Cool project, but that was half life-sized at best..

  • please get a life! what a fking shit! sorry GL

  • Well at least they had the good sense to burn that abomination.

  • Celebrities say they like star wars and that they're hardcore fanse because they bought a 30 year old C-3P0 pez on ebay or something, but its the regular people like them and I that make star wars more than a bunch of movies, and I thank them. My girlfriend once gave me birthday sex as Slave Leia, but the costume was only 55% movie accurate, completely turned me off. JK I bricked in her mouth then let her use my Listerine. What can I say I'm a romantic.

  • Ah as nerdy as these people are I can't talk down on them. How many times do we say "I'm so bored"? These people had an idea and acted on it. Good for them. It may look like shit, but they are proud of it so good for them.

  • Check these dudes out....Gretchen Munger....awesome....

  • "Exactly at the moment we needed it" WTF do you "need" something like this?

    I dig tho

  • "Once in a lifetime opportunity" what life lost.... Gene pool needs a lot of chlorine.

  • wow.

  • Fuckin random dudes

  • "A spiritual experience..."? God, what a gaggle of douchebags.

  • @JMARTIN1947 not douche bags just big old children.

  • This should be a training video for people who are trying to remain a virgin for the rest of their life.

  • "You would think we had built a cathedral." Yeah maybe not, but it was still good to see a project like this one come together.

But maybe a straight edge might have been useful. But it's good to see that four nerds weren't horribly injured while running up the rant. Nerds Rule. But next time, work in green screen.

  • absolutely horrifying, imbecilic and otherwise idiotic, but at the same time there is a morbid fascination that keeps me watching

  • so can u make it actually fly

  • well carpentry and star wars nerds seldom go hand in hand so A for effort

  • I don´t get the spirit of all this.

  • So they cut down trees to build a really shit version of the falcon, then decided to burn the wood when they were finished!? There you have it. Nerds with too much time on their hands are reponsible for global warming!!

  • neeeerd

  • Correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't there a picture of the star wars team building a massive big life size millenium falcon inside the Echo base scene for empire strikes back? that looked bigger and much more detailed.

  • Building a detailed life-size Falcon would not be too hard if you had your hands ona Star Wars Tatooine Technical Manual like I do, which gives schematics of the entire ship - you then apply those to conventional ship construction rules - you first build a "cage" to support the structure of the ship as you build it. When finished, you remove the cage.

  • This would have been a neat video had it been a project done by 10 year olds, but not Adults? The ship looks poorly constructed and incomplete?

  • Life size? Not even close!! Studio scale would be massive.

  • You're right! The studio model was sixty (60) feet in diameter..... That was in Pinewood Studios in England.... 1975

  • falcon fail!'

look like a 1/2 Scale falcon and completely unfinished!

    ;(

  • Its cool but not comlet

  • LOL Retards! What a crap design!

Literally a carboard-wood "space ship" built by 35 year-old retards with minds of 7 year-olds!

They are so proud and they actually said "we were ready on deadline" ROFL!

They talk about "project", "deadline", they even cried when they tore it apart! LOL

They call this a lifesize model?

Gosh, these adults should get some psychiatric treatment!

  • Commendable effort, but calling the thing "life-size" is very misleading (or maybe just deluded.

Check out 5:45 when they are carrying the cockpit to the fire. NO WAY could that thing house 4 people, including a 7'5" Wookiee.

But like I said, commendable effort :-)

  • what a piece of shit

  • full size would be around 75-80 feet wide.

40 feet is more like 1/2 size.

  • its not FULCON ITS FAAAAAAAAAAALCON.

  • no its FAIL-CON!

  • When all the little nerds come together scary things happen. By the way kickass.

  • Cough Cough, NERD!!....Cough Cough....

  • @louise12345 hey. this was a childhood fantasy of mine.

you mock them. you mock me

  • Wake me up when their building life sized death stars.

  • Massive nerds!

    nice work though

  • my dad used to make parpade floats to go ontop of cars, mash heilocopters etc, I know where your coming from.

  • Cheers for following the dream and making happiness happen in what ever form. Make your $ back perhaps as a restuarant of attraction for the local airport?

  • and WHY THE HELL didn't you show more pics of the Falcon? Goddamn, that made me so very U P S E T !!!!

  • Ultimate treehouse!! well not anymore

  • Wowzers!

  • These folks have WAY TO MUCH TIME ON THEIR HANDS! No wonder the Demos got elected in 08!
