I'm a teacher in training at OISE in Toronto and am looking forward to your talk on March 6th. This video reminds me of my childhood, when I once tapped maple trees on a class trip. It's a vague memory, but an experience I would like to be able to pass on to my future students.
@markmoreyIFNL Yes I did go to a talk that you spoke at in Toronto (at the University of Toronto on March 6th 2010). I loved every minute of it and bought the book The Coyote's Guide. However I now teach in Hong Kong (it's my third week teaching) and I will have to find a community here that is also interested in mentor teaching. Thanks for the you tube videos. They are a good source of information while I am living and teaching abroad.
I am going to put up a clip from the toronto aom about cultural elements that support nature connection, I am sure you will see them in action in china !

Thanks for the introduction - we have three people coming from our summer camp. Maple Syrup season is still a couple of weeks off here.
