  • when i get bored of television i watch videos like these by people like us on youtube. Thank you.

  • Love it 2:22. I like the fact that it resembles the nightmarish world in SH while being peaceful and beautiful.

  • I thought it was very well done, but felt that the inconsistent silent hill soundtrack was distracting more than anything else. Additionally, the films symbolism could have been prehaps fleshed out a bit, making it easier to notice.

  • In my opinion, symbols do not need to shout at the camera.

I do agree about the soundtrack, but I think it's grown on me in the past four years.

  • You had me, then you lost me.

  • Like my worst nightmare, never ending always taunting.

  • wow, really interesting work!

it has a very special apocalyptic athmosphere. like in a computer game.

    great job!

  • Bonito.

    Bonita música.

It's the same camera for the scenes of the plants and the guy running??

  • Same camera

  • extraordinary movie! I love it! 5 stars !!!

  • Woa, I was searched "experimental film" to get ideas for my film class at RIT, and this was the 2nd one I came upon. How coincidental!

    Great film :)

  • ha. neat. make sure to put that up on youtube when you're done.

  • Oh I will, though it's due thursday, and I'm stressing to get everything together :\

  • Well done!

I love the use of slow motion on the stairs there, it added a little suspense to the film! *wink*

Nice color in the film too.

    I really liked it.

  • good job !

I love the color of this film

  • it's like David Lynch meets Stanley Kubrick...good job.

  • what camera did you use?

  • Sony HDR-HC3 Handycam

  • I like this video :)

  • i dont understand all, but good job, music is very nais. bless

  • the music is from silent hill 4....

  • Thanks... that's awesome, because I immediately thought of Silent Hill when I was watching this for some reason... but I've never played Silent Hill 4!

  • this is awesome stuff. check out my own experimental film "shutter" and lemme know what you think

  • 0:34-0:56

  • I just can't help but say that this is incredible.

  • hey mastromonaco, good direction. the water drops on the last frame was a good detail (i was just thinking of putting few red drops on that water.) excellent camera works!

  • very nicely done, just inspired me, gave me a couple ideas for a piece im starting on..

  • The cinematography worked well for the overall feel.

  • Extremely well done! The different color effects you used and the style perfectly fit with the silent hill music (which im a very big fan of). What i really thought was a great trick was the one where you had the boy move closer to the camera while you had the background move away from the camera, and you acheived it almost perfectly. The use of slow motion was good, and i liked how you used organic elements like plants. In all, this is a great film and the cinematography was very well done.

  • wonderful cinematography - you might be interested in my experimental short - posted as: zikron

  • loved the video, would you tell me the name of the song from this video?

  • There are several songs in this video. Which one would you like to know?

  • Sorry, nvr seen silent hill, nvr played the game but cool video. I really enjoyed the beginning of it and some of the shots in between but i don't like the end.

    great job

  • hey

nice video, i really you video, especially i liked the abstract images, the vegetation things etc, overall it was very interesting, the music 's very nice, i was into silent hill game too, many years ago! anyways thanks!

  • What's the track that starts at 2:20?

  • it's called "Claw Finger" from the SH1 original soundtrack.

  • I REALLY LOVE YOUR VIDEO!!!!

I'd like to have it in a better quality. Can you send me please. It's just for me to watch to be inspired to make my short movie.

  • Unfortunately I cannot find the original copy of this video on my computer anymore

  • I don't really care about Silent Hill, but think it's interesting that you choose this as s point of departure.

The first 30seconds or so look fantastic, after that the quality of the image seems to vary. I like the more abstract sections best, and the cinematography is indeed very strong. Nice work.

  • i really enjoyed it....nice work

  • Yes, I think Silent Hill games are about that too. However, my film's intention was not to try and copy that.
