You don't actually teach how to draw it, you just DRAW it.

What more do you need?

An artist's eye should come before his hand.

By seeing him drawing you learn the priorities of the work, relationship between features/spaces, tones relation with texture, falling of light, and since it's not even in high speed you can see his line quality and hand movement(circular, diagonal) which tells you of the type of line required.(squirkling,crosshatc­h)

What would you want him to do, say: "ok the lion's mouth goes like a banana"

Actually i like to draw myself, and i used his picture to draw my own. His drawing was pretty good, but mine turned out better. Thats how you learn, you get the outline of the drawing and then add your twist of creativity into it yourself.

I liked it... but starting the drawing by the small parts like eyes, nose, mouth is kinda risky, I will only feel safe doin that if I draw the same stuff always (I don't know if it is your case)

It's ok. You should use a picture next time for help. Don't be afraid of using a picture. Also, you should label the video as Me drawing a lion.. or something close to that because you are not quite to the point of being able to teach someone as of yet... but yeah, soon you could be to that point. Again, use a photo next drawing! =)

Can you do better? It's very hard to draw something like that without any mistakes. I'm not sure what he was drawing the lion with but it looked like a marker. I might me wrong, but if it is, then markers are hard to draw with without any pencil to guide you. And I should know that from experience.
