the first 10 seconds of this is so awesome it almost doesn't need the rest. It just kicks your ass. perfect intro to the game.

Side scrolling beat em ups were THE games to play in the arcades back in the 90s and this was my favorite. There was nothing cooler than having all four people playing at once. And the first stage music always got me pumped

@ukyo124 Online play is cool these days, but nothing beat pumping quarters into a cabinet alongside 3 other strangers and busting your asses to overcome the challenge and (sometimes) tedium and beat some of the ridiculous levels/bosses. Simpsons, TMNT, X-men, Spider-man, Avengers, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, AVP, Nightslashers, D&D Tower of Doom, etc. I miss arcades :( At least I have most of them on emulation to enjoy

@arkainjalex12 Yeah, and where I live, arcades are practically extinct now. I feel for kids today who kinda missed out on that whole era. I guess online play will be their childhood memories. I need to get an emulator too.

I remember seeing this game when I was five or so at Chuck E. Cheese, and at first I was too scared to play it. Once I did I was always begging to go back, as this was the only game I played. Since we didn't have any cable or video games I'd always reenact the turtles fighting moves in my room. This was what first introduced me to the Ninja Turtles, and I've been a die-hard turtle fan ever since. God bless the developers of this game.

@ssgoku17 I also remember going to the pizzeria to play this too. This game was so cool. I remember taking turns with the other kids playing this game or some coin co-op. We'd make a whole night of playing this all the time. I remember walking like a half hour to get to the pizzeria too. Now kids have everything at the tip of their fingers (roms and emulators). They don't know the fun of not having all the conveniences in life nor the fun of the arcade. The '80s/'90s rocked!
