What about the boy and his well being. He was separated from his father when he was very young, next he lost his mother and now he is being snatched away again from his current home. Had David Goldman been a decent father and husband to begin with, the mother wouldn't have dumped him. Now the kid is being forced back into this sick society. One should feel sorry for him. This story isn't about Brazil vs. US - It's about a boy that was taken away from his father and the "human rights" a child and his father have to know and love each other. After the mess, he is now back to where he belongs. Why is anyone even questioning whether the boy should be in Brazil or the US? Bottom line is that HE HAS A RIGHT TO KNOW HIS FATHER. Actually, Rio de Janeiro has a HUGE annual gay parade and so do other cities in Brazil (eg Sao Paulo) -Google the pictures if you're in doubt- Brazil doesn't have screwed up custody laws, many judges ruled in favor of Goldman, the problem is that his maternal family had the right of appeal which delayed things. Truth is, you're the one who's exemplifying ignorant behavior by calling 180 million people backwards because you can't debate in a civilized, respectful manner.
