Anyone who knows, If you are converting to a .22 rifle and your barrel is originally for a .223 isnt the .22 bullet a tad bit smaller than the barrel? I cant figure out how the bullet would grip the rifling.
@fraytownfights its not that much smaller, for instance if u took a .22 bullet and tried to fit it into the barrel from the muzzle, u will not be able to push the bullet in at all, its that tight of a fit.
glad you got the kit runnin good,I have the stainless steel version,about 800 rds thru it only had 1 FTF & couple FTE so I'm happy w/ it,mine's not picky on ammo either it shoots bulk fed,winchester,bvac,amscor,rem.I shoot it out of a stag 2h upper
the ammo used does mater -im not sure on a cmmg kit but i have some sks vids showing ammo failures and whats used-i also have a ceiner kit for ar and alot of vids of me and sis firing it-what was price of ur cmmg kit-ive seen them on aim for 199--good vid man-keep it up

The problems I have had were caused by the CMMG mag itself. The mechanism worked fine with Federal HP jacked .22 ammo. (Cheap stuff from wally world)

ive used a few different ammo boxes on this winchester did not work, wasnt the kits fault ammo didnt work in my browning or revolver. love this kit
