I drove one of these at Galveston this summer, and i really love the 3800 Series III. it can hold higher gears at about 12-1300 RPM if you're careful, and 20~60 goes by really quickly when you have it floored, everything is really smooth too. My only problem was the front wheel drive. All around great car though.
I'm just about to purchase one, and I'm pretty excited. They ride like a dream, and they can go when you put the peddle down. My only question is; are they decent on gas?
If you change a headlight lamp, God Bless you! The most ignorantly designed headlight in the world....change the battery?....another dumb design. I will never ever ever ever buy american cars again. I'm a native born American by the way and I will never buy a union made car as long as I live. I also have a toyota and a civic. Those are the most dependable and easiest cars in the world to take care of. oh yeah, I changed the headlight lamp but it was a bear. Never again. they want 100bucks2change
I have the very same car, but its a 2007. I have a couple problems with this car. When its on a small incline and you take your foot off the gas it goes nowhere, until you apply the gas. Also if its a bigger incline you have to be quick from the brake to the gas or it will roll back. The 3800 series 3 does not have the as much low end torque as the series 1 or 2. I have to give it more gas to get it up to speed then I would with my 95 lesabre.

@buickman85 Ya it is a little weak on the low end, but on the interstate, it has plenty of power and still gets about 30mpg.
