  • america should use the australian bushmaster it fits like 8 or so troops and they eats ied's and rpg's for lunch lol ,i think like only a few have been taken out in 9years

  • @InSpiteOfItAllKnow There wouldn't be a Bentley after an IED.

  • 14 tonns..... They will get stuck and get hit by rpg fire from the ferocious Taleban fighters.

    Go Tali!

  • its all about the stryker hooah :)

  • stupid more money and will be useless..

  • the backseats are uncomfortable as hell, especially when your on a mission for 7 days straight

  • true that

  • @cavalryscoutdelta I agree the backseat is uncomfortable as hell after long missions because for some reason they think the CROWS is the best thing in the fucking world. I hate that stupid thing so much. The M-ATV itself is a great vehicle and without it half my platoon would of probably been killed.

  • i had to do a career cruising thing for school and my number one thing i would be good at was being a armored assault vehicle driver now i cant wait to join the army

  • $300k n what!!!....

  • Hey guys... unless you have ever been in one or have/been given intimate knowledge of how one of these work you really have no business talking. Being in the military, having sat in one of these and been on patrol I know what they can do... save lives. As long as you observe the safety systems and follow your training you reduce your likelihood to serious injury or death.

  • @jmatthews19 Your right, thanks. People see this video and think they know everything about it.

  • that thing is kind of a big target

  • Not as good as the Bushmaster

  • there goes my house

  • ok first of all pay attention to the video.. these vehicles were designed to defeat IED attacks.. just like the MRAPS.. and no the humvee is outdated and isnt reliable at all! i have pictures from my first tour in 04' with the humvees loosing wheels cuz the axle couldnt support the weight its holding. plus when an IED hits a humvee .. YOUR ALL DEAD.. so stop complaining that this is a waste of money i say we put you in a humvee and let u drive on a Afghanistan road

  • @yourcomingoffstupid have u checked out the new ranger from universal engineering its a brit second or third gen mrap

  • hahaha we are going to use this vehicle in mexico against the drug cartel, that sucks

  • the in field reporter seems to be smoking crack...breathe mother fucker, breathe !!

  • this is nothing more than a soldiers mobile coffin.

  • Save your tax money , go back to ride a horse as Western cowboy in Afghanistan 2010 .

    I mean , our soldiers : US Army .

  • Why this idiot is talking so aloud?

  • So this is going to be in parallel with the vehicle that will win the JLTV competition?

  • @USN1985 i would have said "nuke em" if that was even close to my point. some of us are big hearted enough to care about the soldiers AND ALL THE CIVS GETTING KILLED. dumbass.

  • stupid show - who cares?

I know a lot of people do but .. come on .. get a life!

uuh wow look at me im driving in an armored vehicle - im all mr. military .. uuh I am so tough.

  • @42ph

Then why are you watching it?

  • Comment removed

  • @42ph Acually its more like "Look at me, I'm driving an armored vehicle in service of my country." I mean, thats what I always thought.

  • lol i wonder if there was a better use of $1500000 over there...$300 or $400 k LOLS maybe from the factory but add $1 million for equip.

  • @MemorysMystic

Hmmm, let's see. If a soldier is killed in an IED attack, the SGLI pays his family up to 450,000. If you have anywhere from 3-5 men riding in one humvee, and all are killed, the government not only is out 3-5 soldiers, but they now have to fork over up to 2,250,000. So, even if you're a cold-hearted bastard that doesn't give a shit about troop safety, at least you can sleep easy knowing that it still saves money in the end.

  • @USN1985 When I was in the Army we could only get up to $400,000. And that was optional, you really dont have to get any at all.

  • @USN1985 last i checked..the government doesn pay sgli..i could of sworn they take money out of my check every month for it..get your facts right.

  • @CreazioniPinnacolo

LMAO, and you think that in your short little enlistment they've taken 400,000 dollars from your account? How much do you pay a month? $60? That would be $720 a year, and barely $2,880 in a 4-year enlistment. Someone should really explain the concept of the SGLI to you better.

    Get your facts straight.

  • @USN1985 someone should really explain how insurance works to you better smart ass... you have however many million people paying 60 dollars a month. the insurance company gambles they arent gonna all die at once. The SERVICE member pays for his insurance.. not the government..

  • @CreazioniPinnacolo

"last i checked..the government doesn pay sgli.."

Sorry, but last I checked the Department of Veterans Affairs was a department of the GOVERNMENT. So yes, it's the GOVERNMENT that pays out that sum when a service member dies. I thoroughly understand the concept of an insurance company, dipshit, but we aren't in Allstate's hands. So it IS in the government's best interest to keep our asses alive.

    Fuck tard.

  • @USN1985 Nice reply.

  • @Robloxsaltytaco1234

    Thanks man.

  • @USN1985 My dad told me pretty much everything you said. He knows what he's talking about(he's working on his 3rd tour).

  • @USN1985 ooook ,, you obviously dont know how to do simple math.. or understand why government doesnt give a fuck about a measley 400k if you die, so just stfu, youve made yourself sound dumb enough

  • @CreazioniPinnacolo

No, that would be you, guy. But please, enlighten us with your infinite knowledge. So far all you've done is insulted me without supporting your own cause.

  • the dude needs to calm the fuck down

  • looks like one mean mofo of a "vehicle"

  • I live in Wisconsin close to Oshkosh and seen one driving on the Highway. I would like to drive one of them!

  • No, you got the acronym wrong. The "M" is short for MRAP, meaning "Mine Resistant Ambush Protected".
