The freak taxidermy contest was great. Dr. Yamada had a strong Asian accent but his showmanship on the stage with his amazing freak babies made of his skins were out of this world. I also loved the Pope Squirrel!
That awesome Asian guy is Dr. Takeshi Yamada, the rogue taxidermy artist (as well as fine art patinter and sculptor) of the Museum of World Wonders in Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York. The 4th annual Rogue Taxidermy Contest was held on November 15, 2009 at Bell House, Brooklyn, NY. The event was spectacular. I had a great time meeting him and other creative people there. The contest started at 8pm and ended midnight! I love his mermaid rabbit called Sea Rabbit with duck feet and seal's tail.
