@lifeform106 Size doesn't matter, it's about strength. Spinosaurus wasn't as powerful built as T-Rex, but it was bigger. Sorry all Spinosaurus fans, but it wasn't strong enough to defeat T-Rex.
@axelvs94 you need to get your facts right because t-rex has tiny arms all t-rex has is a powerful bite but spineosaurus is so tall to t-rex that t-rex can't reach the neck and if he tried to grab the neck spinosaurus would rip it open with arms because its arms were strong enough to rip open any flesh and when spinosaurus is in the jaws of t-rex spinosaurus could use its arms to cut it open and free it self and kill it with its own bite!
@lifeform106 incorrect. Spino is almost the same height as T.Rex. the only thing that makes measurements state Spino as taller is the added height of the sail.
Spino's bite was nowhere near as powerful as Rex's, and was adapted to catch fish. hence the crocodile-like design. plus, it's teeth were hollow. Rex's teeth were made of solid bone, it had enough muscle power in its jaws to bite a small car in half, and it had far superior senses and thought processing. outgunned Spino by a long shot.
@RPGTKingpinspinosaurus spinosaurus arms can break a t-rex neck and it did hunt fish but it also hunted dinosaurs inland and even if it did only hunt fish no animal has hollow teeth! bears eat fish and they go inland to hunt food as well and spinosaurus crocodile like jaws were design to catch fish but have you seen crocodiles pull animals in the water like zebra they were strong enough to pull in animals many times there size, so it met that it can pull t-rex apart like a crocodile!
@lifeform106 have you ever seen a Spino's tooth in person? I've seen a cross section. it's hollow.
also, Crocodiles rely on the infamous 'death roll' to tear apart their victims. Spinosaurus' anatomy prevented that.
Spinosaurus' arms have yet to be discovered. what we have now are assumptions based on relatives. we have no real clue how large it's arms were, let alone how powerful, so claiming it could break a Rex's neck is wishful thinking at best.
@lifeform106 I never stated that Spinosaurus didn't hunt inland. I simply stated that it was primarily piscivorous, and only resorted to hunting land based prey when fish was unavailable. keep in mind that there were multi-ton fish in the lakes and rivers during that period of time that would easily satisfy a Spinosaurus' needs for sustinence. so it's not a question of size. it's a question of adaptation.
@lifeform106 Note that Bears are much more heavily built physically than a Spinosaurus is. hell, it's the T. Rex of today. just look at the skeletons. they give you a good idea of how the animal is built. Spino's bones in several places are thin. much thinner relative to their bodies than Rex's. thin bones mean small muscles. thick bones mean large muscles [because the bones are the foundations for the muscles. thin, weak bones can't handle very large muscle mass].
@RPGTKingpin dude your so stupid thickness of the bones do not mean anything! i seen both animals and spinosaurus does not have any holy area! And you need to see a real model of spinosaurus and look up spinosaurus you like know nothing i bet you get all this from this videos and jurassic park and they got everything wroung on both of them!
@lifeform106 take a course in anatomy and biomechanics before calling people better educated than yourself, idiots. For the record, I've been studying Dinosaurs since you were learning how to count. I obviously know a helluva lot more about the animals if you don't even know Spinosaurus teeth are hollow. that's common knowledge by now. so is the relation between width of bones and muscle mass. Please educate yourself before fan-ranting about things you know absolutely nothing about.
@RPGTKingpin i am the idiot have you study spinosaurus you need to see shows on discovery or the history channel on spinosaurus or read a book i have study both animals but spinosaurs would not die like this in the video how about you do your own battle but make spino use his weapons as well
@lifeform106 I have studied both extensively. I even addressed this debate formally in a university paper about 6 months ago. I address the raw paleontological data. TV shows vary severely in their depictions of facts and can be biased. some have depicted the Spinosaur as being ridiculously powerful, while others stupidly weak. I treated it as an animal filling an ecological niche in its environment.
it would ultimately die to the Rex. not as fast as in this game, but still. it wouldn't survive
@lifeform106 I like both equally. But when I compare, I don't let my personal feelings influence the results. it's called being open minded. it's the only way to debate properly.
@lifeform106 If I had a dollar for every dinosaur lover on Youtube, I'd be able to skip working completely and go right to retirement. No offence, but I only accept friend invites from people I actually know.
@RPGTKingpin seriously.....personally i think its not the matter of strength of both animals. these creatures are extinct n paleontologist can only predict what might happen based on the actions n reactions of modern animals. there's always the factor of spino could be the more agile predator n uses its agility to outmatched a t-rex due to its hollow bones
@RPGTKingpin or the fact of t-rex getting a bite off a spino could be devastating because of the fact that t-rex having a bigger bite force. thus there's no way to tell which will actually win in a straight up fight if u get what i mean..
@Spnozilla You're retarded kid. A dino predator will always use its jaws as the first weapons needed to fight with. Its arms are basically secondary, but T-Rex MUST get under it for it even use its arms since its arms are positioned under its body.
@MrTobyCure hey hey no need to call me retarded and spinosaurus is bigger you idot so it can use its arms against a T-rex if its jaws are not strong enough.
@Spnozilla Not really. Its height is nothing but only two feet taller than T-Rex, which only positions T-Rex's head right into its neck. Its arms aren't flexible either, no dinosaurs arms are flexible though, it can only move its arms at a certain degree. Even before it could utilize its arms, T-Rex's jaws would've already been clamped onto its neck. It would be game over. Either way T-Rex has the world's most strongest terrestrial biteforce of all time. You can't win against that when your jaws
@Spnozilla No one that is a great paleontologist would even dare to say that. Honestly, Spino has many faults in its design, T-Rex compensates for all of it and it builds it up with pure strength, intelligence, and superior senses. Please, just stop all of your dumb nonsense about Spino being the king and all, cuz it isn't gonna happen. There's a reason why Tyrannosaurus Rex means "Tyrant Lizard King." Just get that through your thick head. You're not a paleontologist.
you know what lets just end this fuck you and T-Rex. He is not the ultimate predator and everyone knows that they haven't discovered enough fossils of spino to draw conclusions about its anatomy and I never said I was a scientist and you aren't ethire dick face! so how you just deal with the that T-Rex got de-throned he is not the king anymore okay. even if isn't spino their is still 3 other carnivors to think about. so you can take your mother fucking Rex and shove iyt up extinctions ass dick
@Spnozilla I hope you realize Spino's findings are enough to conclude what it would look like with very close relatives like Suchomimus and Baronyx have been found just to give what it would look like. Due to it being a piscovore, it wouldn't have the strength, capabilities, or intelligence to take out T-Rex. Whatever in each case you try to put, you've failed. I've extensively researched both predators, kid. I'm not surprised T-Rex would win, but you can't just use TV shows as sources of
@Spnozilla scientists and shows you need to watch. As well, the 3 other carnivores you are thinking of I already know and debated over with others. I've proved T-Rex is still considered the king before too. By far, T-Rex wins in the fights due to its powerful bite strength, intelligence, and many other sophisticated senses it had. T-Rex had to fight against prey twice as hard to kill than any other predators have had to fight before. By far, T-Rex hasn't been dethroned.
@Spnozilla Your almighty Spino does not have the bite strength, nor speed, or musculature like T-Rex. T-Rex has all of those features, its body is enough but a mass of pure muscle designed to crush anything in its path. N before you debate about this due to you acting ignorant, no, T-Rex was not a scavenger. It's already been proven by MULTIPLE scientists that it was a hunter.
T-Rex by far is one of the most intelligent predators, it actually strategized its plans out. It had to due to the fact
@Spnozilla Charging at a Triceratops head on was suicidal, so it had to have a sophisticated brain to work and plan things out. T-Rex is the most famous and pleased Dinosaur of all time. I don't think a fish-eating dinosaur could dethrone him. Not by a long shot. There has been points proven that no predator can out contend T-Rex.
@MrTobyCure look I am not saying that T-Rex is a weekling here I like him I really do. He is my 4th favorite dino but listin to me. the way you are depicting spinosaurus is that he is the weakest lage carnivor dinosaur and that he can't take down shit. just try to picture in your head for at least one minute how spino realy could have lived in real life. think about it you don't become one of the largest carnivors around just to fish.
@Spnozilla The predators as we know of today are simply large, but Spinosaurus had a niche to fit in its environment. It was a gigantic predator with a large size to defend itself from huge crocodilians like Sarcosuchus or even sea beasts like Mosasaurs and such. Sorry if it sounds like I am pointing it out to sound like Spino is a pussy. I don't think it would be a big push-over. I just don't possibly think it could survive or even deal with T-Rex.
@Spnozilla Spino would give a pretty good fight, but once T-Rex got one bite (maybe two) its just game over after that. Its hard 2 survive when you're facing something that is slightly smaller than you, but more muscular, and something that just broke a leg bone or worse the neck vertebraes. Its just too much. I love both dinos, I just don't believe Spino has the capability to beat T-Rex.
I will say this though, Spino isn't going down without a fight. He'll give T-Rex a few scars 2 remember by.
@MrTobyCure I am sorry if I hurt your feelings and lets just say T-Rex and Spino are rival predators and leave at that like sonic and shadow, Goku and Vegeta, and fire vs water and let bygones er by-gones or what ever be by gones.
@Spnozilla Well, I do believe both dinos could kill each other. I don't doubt Spino could kill T-Rex. But, probably 7/10 T-Rex would probably win. That's just my belief and my theory. There are too many facts for T-Rex to give him the credible win for the fight. Spino doesn't have it, but if it was a once in a lifetime fight, then its just hard to say who would win. It all depends who strikes first and does the most damage.
@Spnozilla are the first weapons to be utilized. Its impossible for Spino to strike at T-Rex. In my personal opinion, Spino could only hope that it would be scared off by its sheer size. Other than that, T-Rex has an upper hand when a fight goes go on.
