That engine is well worn out but still seems to run well enough to fly this lazybee. It wouldn't take much to change the front bearing and make it as good as new.
I had to watch a few times. Notice in the first frames that there seems to be no exhaust pipe or muffler, and the engine is wired in. From the size it looks like an OS FS40.
Looks like you got your money's worth on that plane. About how many flights you got on that thing. I don't care what anyone says about it but I think that's awesome.
That engine ( and the airframe, I guess) is well knackered but it seems to fly OK and that's amazing in itself. I have a brushless powered 48" Bee I fly on quiet Summer evenings - when we get them :) Good, no stress fun - thanks for posting
Awesome!!! You know what having fun in RC is about. I am almost done with my 48" Lazy Bee, is your plane made from the 48" plans, and what size four stroke motor is that
so what if his plane doesnt exactly look pretty? it flies well & that was one heck of a nice deadstick landing at the end..nice flying dude! and to xcellpro ( the above poster), you're the loser! see, u even spelled 'loser' wrongly!

That engine look pretty well beaten-up...it should be having a nice retirement on your shelf of honour by now.

That't not easy to say to bee owners. And they are not made anymore. My friend bought a few as future investments.
