2:15 never happens in the uk we love driving in formation and taking 3 days to over take people then not moving over. But gives a chance to weave through traffic which is nice.

Is the Autobahn intimidating when you first drive on it? Seems like you could get mashed by a Porsche or something just trying to pull out on to the road.

No, that's why Germans use the lanes the way the one is supposed to. The right lane is for truckers and slower traffic, so merging on to traffic isn't that bad. So when you go out into the passing lane, you down shift and nail it after carefully checking your mirrors and blind spot.
