@BlackRockSh00ter1 its not like wow and i dont know what tera is,wow is very different its more fantasy in its world and the combat system is very different WoW is right click an enemy and mush the number keys DDO is real time combat so when you hit the attack key you attack an enemy and you cant just have 5 enemys on you and think youll live by just clicking 1 enemy no you need to keep in your mind whos the strongest who has to die first jump over an enemy kill the mages jump back etc etc.

I am happy to have started playing this game but i have only one question.Why is the lvl limit set to 20?ive never seen a player higher than 20

@eeveefan127 yeah the level limit is 20 you cant go any higher so you could say the game gets boring at lvl 20 HOWEVER theres endgame content like the Amrath zone the shroud raid to farm ingredients from to make better weapons and items and epic content thats lower/mid lvl content that becomes lvl 20 content with new rewards then you can always use the true reincarnation feuture wich starts you back at lvl 1 but with your old items and alot of new extras you normally dont get.

@Lazie18up tbh i was a lil disapointed in the community.. one of the main reasons i quit playing in like few days is i couldn't make contact with anyone lol.. maybe it's just bad luck but hey :P

@Lazie18up for me i have tryed them both and i am still playing DDO after like 2-3 years,very helpful and nice community and a decent player base in DDO,lotro from what i have seen is its more solo based so you wont connect alot with other players,with DDO though you will be in contact with others almost continiously but therefore most people are very helpful and friendly :)

It's true for a while it's not really needed to use the item shop. But later on you need to buy "expansions" to unlock dungeons and storyline. But even at that it's not to bad, not like you have to pay any subscription fees.
