am i really going to be disappointed by electric zoo? the lineup this year is pretty good, but i was just at ultra in march...and i'm trying not to compare the two
even though some of my favorite djs will be at ezoo and a few weren't at ultra..i'm thinking they are going to be along the same lines like "rowdiness" wise. even though electric zoo has 100,000 less people.

ezoo definately is 3rd next to ultra and edc. if theyre gunna hype it up as much as it is. atleast have the fucking djs to make it worth the fucking 300 bucks. dont get me wrong theres a handful of good ones. but a handful compared to an entire lineup.... is a BIG difference. i just find it bullshit that theyre making it like this. dayglow is gunna be the same way, wastn even that good. they make theyre money off paint. smh

You will basically see the majority of the top 50 DJs on the DJ Mag Top 100 for 300 bucks. That isn't too much to ask for. Think of it this way, there's over 100 DJs and you're paying 300 bucks. Yes, I know you probably don't like everyone there BUT....that still comes out to under five dollars a DJ. Crazy to complain about that.
@jxbootie dubstep wouldn't be here if it weren't for old school trance pioneers like Armin, PVD, Tiesto, Above & Beyond, Oakenfold, etc. I don't think you can fully appreciate the music if you don't know where it came from.

@thelocal711 I went to electric zoo the 1st year and 2nd year (est since 2009) Yes it's nice to have a festival in new york that appreciates the music & the love. but within the second year it exploded. there were twice as many people and idk. this year the prices sky rocketed. i feel that this shit is way too hyped. this is only their 3rd year doing their festival and they jacked up the prices as if they were ultra or edc. shit is whack because they can't compare to the other two.
@thelocal711 ezoo was my 1st festival. i will admit.... it is definitely an amazing experience regardless because i loved the music and the people that were around. ny trance family is something that can't be described. but within the 2nd year, ezoo doubled in #. if you're looking for a mega mass festival like ultra and edc something extravagant....ezoo will not be met up to your expectations. the reason why i'm a bit bitter is because the competition between all 3 festivals the drive
@jxbootie to be the best and i feel that ezoo is special because it isn't as huge or mass populated like the other festivals. when i saw armin at ezoo his set was okay. it wasn't the best. armins set asot 500 in miami was amazing. and i streamed his other sets around the world and i was amazed. i also saw armin at asot 450 at roseland and he threw down a very good show. i suppose i did enjoy ezoo but like i said before...i'm just upset how much it was exploded and the now crowd it's bringing in
