@Trumpy959 From then on, you'll get a feel for what you need to add and what can be left off cars to max them out in a given class and still have them drive like you want them to. Hope that helped.
@Trumpy959 I also recommend getting up to level 4 affinity for a car company so that most upgrades are free. That way, you can play around with swapping tires, engine parts, drivetrain parts, and suspension parts without having to spend a single in-game credit. Try a few setups and let ForzaTune 4 do all the hard work of tuning and gearing the car for you. Eventually you'll find that one tune that works perfectly for your style of driving for that car.
@Trumpy959 Just to get tis out if the way first, I do use a lot of assists. I enjoy having fun with the game. I'm definitely not an avid amateur, semi-pro, or pro driver. That said, though, ForzaTune 4 has made a *HUGE* difference for me (even more so than the original ForzaTune). If you love ForzaTune and have an iOS device, I can't recommend it enough.
Im new to the franchise with Forza 4 being my intro and although im struggling for the most part, I do love the game. I recently passed the L50 barrier and have been trying out free tunes from the storefront in an effort for better handling cars because I lack the knowledge and hours of testing / learning time which I assume is needed. I recently discovered this app for itunes and was wondering if a better handling car/tune is really that easy and possible for someone like me at this point?
