How about if it was between picking a stock Veyron.......or a 1000 hp Supra? (still about 25% the cost. AND only 60% of it's potential power output of 1800.)

Since I would MAYBE go over 200+ a handful of times even IF I owned a Veyron, I would pick the Supra for the SIMPLE fact that Supra's are freeway kings.

Actually, the Top Secret Supra is a V12. They got the engine from one of the higher-end Toyotas.

You're thinking about the Castrol Supra, which ran in the JGTC. It was untouchable. I loved Toyotas approach; get a smaller engine (MR2 Turbo) and put it as close to the firewall as possible. End result is 700HP off a 2.2L 4cyl.

Now, that should up the bar for the SW20 and Celica GT-Four fans.
