aw wwwhat an aggressive little girl. Mine used to be aggressive but i started using this "tapping" method (if he starts getting aggressive i lightly tap his nose) to tame him down. hes such a sweetheart now! kinda miss his antics though, so fun to watch them attack things! :)

@ConfuciousxSay I got her from a shop whos owner could not cope with her aggression and the shop could not sell her for the same reason..it took months to get her trust..now shes a big baby...i have found most female tegus to be aggressive ..unlike males that get realy tame in a very short time..

@midnightworrior Ive only ever owned male tegus, and i agree that they so tame down very easily. Maybe I'll have to get me a female and see how well I fare then haha

@midnightworrior I have never owned a Tegu, but I've heard keeping them tame requires a lot of daily or at least bi-daily attention otherwise they undomesticate rather easily,

shes a nightmare at feeding times..she dislocated my finger once...Shes fine as long as its not meal time as she thinks everything that moves is food too LOL

I thought I was the only one with that problem! Everytime I let my tegu roam in my room she always manages to get a sock halfway down her throat before I catch her.
