I remember hacking Chip's Challenge. I used to make my custom levels in a hex editor. The encoding of the levels is a kind of rle compression. I'm still not sure how the enemies work. If I just add them they won't move. Did you use some kind of level editor?
Well-designed level. Not sure I like the new interface (I'm a traditionalist, what can I say?) but the level in general was very well designed. Nicely done.
I can't really help you because the tilesets aren't available anymore after the Geocities closing. Ask Tyler (geochip1) for further information. (I've never used these sets, so I know little.)
This is known as the Kayu Interface, created by Xanthom. I'm not sure if it's still available on his website (challengo + dot + webs + dot + com), but if not I think you can still find it on Yahoo Groups.
You can download Tile World for free, which is an engine/emulator for both rulesets of Chip's Challenge, but for legal reasons it does not include the original levels. I cannot help you locate them, but there are several custom level packs you can download.
Yes, it's a skin you can get for Microsoft Chip's Challenge and TileWorld. It's called the "Kayu Interface" and you can find it at Andrew E.'s Chip's Challenge Page.

@TaiFerret There are many free level editors out there. Don't frustrate yourself too much with a hex editor =P

And how did you make the blobs moving straight like balls ?
SuperFerz 2 years ago
They don't move like straight balls, but if you're talking about how they only move vertical, then you'll notice that I added gravel. ;)
