  • A quarter squat, Paul Anderson(the current squat record holder of nearly 1300lbs) did that as part of his routine, he would do 1800lbs 2 or so times at the end of the day. Most people would break with 1/4th of that on their back

  • An interesting mix of reasons to judge. I'm 5'11" and towered over the man lifting. That he can do whatever weight he was challenging, to me, was pretty cool for the camera. Whatever the weight, however short the attempt, this man took a challenge upon himself and won.
