To be honest, the only real down side to LDR's is missing them. But when you think positively, you get travel opportunities that not many others get, you get to know that someone loves you enough to be willing to miss you. The amount of trust is out of this world, and you REALLY learn how to truly communicate well.

Talking on the phone every day will give me a terrible bill but I think it's worth it. I never thought we would be able to talk like we do! I love him. You live in the same vicinity as her which makes it easier knowing shes okay, not having to worry about her. My baby lives 9 hours away and when i dont get a call or text after awhile i get worried because i dont know if shes okay or not. im going to be a sophomore this year, wont see her until im a senior.

Nice vid :) Here I am, just another story of how long distance can work. I've been officially together with my boyfriend for a year and 2 months, and I honestly couldn't be happier! To be honest, the only real down side to LDR's is missing them. But when you think positively, you get travel opportunities that not many others get, you get to know that someone loves you enough to be willing to miss you. The amount of trust is out of this world, and you REALLY learn how to truly communicate well.

Talking on the phone every day will give me a terrible bill but I think it's worth it. I never thought we would be able to talk like we do! I love him. I gave all I could in my long distance realtionship but my boyfriend didn't. He said it was too hard and that we were worlds apart. I live in American and him in the Netherlands. You live in the same vicinity as her which makes it easier knowing shes okay, not having to worry about her. This video is amazing. Thanks for posting it. I'm in a distance relationship with my boyfriend. We live 2 and a half hours away from eachother and since we started going out (21st June 2009) we've met 7 times. It really hurts and the fact that i'm older by 9 months (i'm 16 and hes 15) makes me wonder if he will try to find someone younger than me. He keeps on flirting with other girls but hes my first and i'm his first (propper) relationship. He keeps on saying hes confused with love. help? :(

my bf and I have a large age difference (6) my dad wont let me see him, and he lives 40 min from me it kills me, its been 7 months now, i doubt it would work out only one year left baby, we can do it xoxo i sure hope so i love u soooo much...

i love my girlfriend so much and she is the sweetest girl in the world but us being in a long distance relationship is really hard for us i talk to her everyday, tell her i love her, that shes beautiful and i say i miss her and want to see her but we cant make plans with each other as we live so far away i think about her while doing everything shes constantly on my mind i hope to see her in the holidays but its hard but were both willing to work at it but i fear that the distance could break us

Yous can make it work because im with a girl and shes in perth im in qld, i recently just flied over there and gave u0pp my birthday and Christmas money for plane tickets. Its amazing when yous first meet. I almost was in tears and i will never forget it. The morning you wake up knowing in about 8 hours you will see her. Ive heard alot of people saying that LDR doesnt work, honestly ive never believe in it until i got in my currently serious relationship that im in til now... we got together last year on my birthday, but sadly my parents wanted to move to another state i was frustrated, so i told my bf and he was willing to try and make it work, and im glad we did i am seeing him finally this summer ,LDR only works to those people who are willing to make it work and who are honest to each other!

I am very fortunate to have a boyfriend that lives an hour away..... But a week feels like three when I am to see him on the weekends. Plus, he's grounded for two weeks after the valentines dance this friday. Then I won't see him for the two weeks and then we could see eachother the weekend he's ungrounded.... But it breaks my heart that all we can do is talking facebook or on the phone. I want to feel his hugs instead of read "e-hugs" as we call them...

@fire93092 I flew her down in January for three weeks to stay with me. It's the 3rd time we have seen each other, but we've been together for over a year now and stronger than ever. I'm going to pop the question when I fly up to see her again around June/July after I talk to her parents and get their approval. Then I'm moving within the tear to be with her 4ever!

This made me cry...I will say that the video helped me realize what people have been telling me ...I need to trust him with all my heart. I love him more than anything and wish to be with him some day soon...I agree with the communication and talking but we have little of it because he doesnt have a computer and my phone sucks..I find myself crying when we get romantic and he tells me he loves me and never wants to lose me..is there a reason?
