  • @antigravityreseach, it's because the small cross sectional area (thickness) is so low that it creates a high resistance and inductance which in turn resists the flow of current and stops them burning out. Eventually they may get only very slightly warm to the touch but this is a byproduct of coils.

  • Buzzing electricity always makes me nervous >.>

  • One thing perhaps you can help why when voltage was applied that the coils did not burn out?Do you have a wiring diagram?? thank you.

  • one question!! Theory says that induction field B should be inside the toroid ONLY, not outside, not in the middle because of windings geometry !! Can someone tell me where my mistake is ?? some good references will be appreciated !!

  • It wasn't Tesla that invented three-phase or the rotating magnet field. He did invent a practical induction motor however. nice demo - very good for students.

  • ahh...nice work redoing the tesla spinning egg trick!

  • I wish MIT would put its abilities to better use!

  • Guys...this is just an induction motor....It has nothing to do with free energy it is based on principles of Faraday's laws and lenz's law and works by the rotating fields created by AC 3phase system advocated strongly by Tesla.

  • That was cool.

  • the insulation on that coil looks nasty, be careful!

  • I invented a breakthrough energy source which violates the law of energy conservation. I have a PROOF that there are electrodynamic phenomena which violate the law of energy conservation (and also experimental evidence of such phenomena). Making a 6 kW generator will cost $1200, value of the energy produced yearly $5400, zero operating costs. I am looking for $300 000 for a prototype and for $3M for patents.

  • @henrykay01 *sigh* Send the scientific paper to the patent office, dude. Trying to pull that shit off on youtube is immoral, unethical, and shady.

  • @MisterSecurity702 Patents require a prototype, because it violates an accepted law of physics. Also, they require money.

  • @henrykay01 patents do not require a prototype

you can file a patent on anything, whether it works or not, so long as the claims you file do not infringe on someone else's patent. also 3 MILLION for a PATENT

    hahahahahahahaha

  • @HangarX58 If an invention violates an accepted law of physics, then a prototype is required. World-wide patenting is expensive.

  • @henrykay01 How about you share all you have for free and REALLY SHOW humanity that you have their best interest at heart and take GREED out of the equation.

  • 3 wingdings connected to the dewhicky powered by the whachamehcallit turned on by the dillymagigger

  • @uut0 BURN THE WITCH..... -reference to monty python-

  • eso es un motor trifasico de jaula de ardilla giles

  • WOW he is brave having his nuts that close to 220 volts OUCH...

  • @gitit20

He doesn't have any use for them anyways. Too busy doing physics.

  • someone didnt get into MIT! hahahaha

  • good job

  • i love the internet. anyone can regurgitate facts and try to sound intelligent. maybe even drop a few names like tesla into the mix or copy and paste somthing from wikipedia. If you read the fucking title of the video it says "physics demo" not i invented this not tesla. so get off your high horses and watch the video or dont and just fuck off

  • Living off the spoils of Tesla once again.

If you go to MIT YOU WILL BECOME A FUCKING RETARD!!!!!

    This is Tesla's Columbus Egg!!!

  • "If you got to MIT YOU WILL BECOME A FUCKING RETARD!!!!!"

This is why I love the internet. People reveal their stupidity without second thought at all time. I also get to be as arrogant as I want on the internet and tell everyone how thankful I am not to be one of the idiots who thinks that people who go to MIT actually lose intelligence.

  • not lose but loose

  • @hellomate639 well that was not the main point of his argument. Tesla did create this and there was no credit due to Tesla.

  • @m1ndcontroller It's still cool to see, unlike your posts.

  • @m1ndcontroller This is a demonstration. The people in this demo are not denying that this is a Tesla Egg. They don't mention what this is or isn't. And why does it matter? They are making a fucking DEMONSTRATION (demo being short for DEMONSTRATION!) Why does everyone watching this video have their panties all up in a bunch about these peeps using a Tesla invention? If that's the case, then you all should get your panties in a bunch about you using Tesla's AC invention. Fuck, guys, really.

  • the time is coming, when you can go to university or whatewer, you will realize that university makes you hungry and stupid,

    you are a government slave,

most of the inventors who had gave something important to the world, they knew this. school will not teach the truth of the world, and you will not hear it in tv either,

so you can call your self a physicist or whatever, it dont make sense,

    Peace&Respect

  • Im glad your also train to open peoples eyes bout school they have to realize their slaves .

  • @Sumermagor i'm sure many people aspire to live in dirt huts without electricity and advanced medicine, in fact if you had neither of those there's a good chance you wouldn't be on these here interwebtubes complaining about it.

  • Edison was a money hungry person,

Tesla Nikola the Austro-Hungarian born serbian inventor was a spiritual being!

Every spiritual being on earth are very important, and money hungry persons are just primitive and unintelligent''

  • is the force that moving these objects is the magnetic force and if it is why is it in this direction ?

  • i have been a telsa fan for thirty years

  • I was in Nikola Tesla Museum in Belgrade, Serbia, last december 1998, and I saw this induction motor inside NT Museum as one of his inventions. Please, I ask for respect to Nikola Tesla.

  • dont bother with these so called scholars who believes that not only Tesla was hoax, but an uncanny magician also. The truth lies in his discoveries, not with his personal life. Nikola Tesla, often abused and ridiculed by those who never contributed anything to science. His practices and methods although not respected by his peers, his contributions will never be forgotten. I for one, has always and will always respect his mind.

  • Good comment.

  • It's not! It's a shitty comment. cornerblu just admitted that Tesla's "practices and methods ... not respected by his peers"!!!!!

Why didn't they?! Are all you people retarded? Think for yourself!

  • Yes we are all retarded. The entire world is retarded compared to you. Hope this helps. Go in peace.

  • It's easier to follow the hero-worship crowd, isn't it? Go light another fuckin' candle under Tesla's poster, put your fingers in your ears, or wherever, and continue your dogmatic worship.

  • nothing special i've seen cooler with vortex of magnetic fields.. thats nice stuff thats also explaining stuff about how blackholes work.

  • i just got the biggest hard-on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The magnetic field must have been farther reaching than first though! It's OVER 9000!

  • That trick had been used in the film "1960 THe Time Machine" when George (Rod Taylor) came on the "ring record payer".

  • so your just using the 220V? no caps? whats the gauges on your wires? and how many winds per section?

  • it's happier with three phases :)

  • cmon you guys cant even give credit to tesla!! everyone this is the tesla egg on a modern look. he made your ac induction motors, ac power transmission, one wire transmission, radar, radio, logic circuits, robotics, rc technology, wardenclyffe, first scientist to reach millions of volts, discoverer of cosmic rays and photovoltaics, wireless energy and internet tranfer 100 yrs ago! i put up some of his work if your interested!

  • Tesla? never heard of him, he is never mentioned in university or on TV, not on youtube, newspapers, bookshops or movies either. Geesh, give us a break, he couldn't do math so he became a joke. Other than that he is remembered well, it was folk at the time who gave him a hard time. science today sees him for the innovator he was. if only he could had gotten a basic eduction, as it was he was an overpaid technician/inventor with limited theoretical background. That tortured him eventually.

  • you've never read biography...he went to best schools in Europe. It just that the current paradigm of science wasn't even up to his level yet. Many everyday devices might not exist without that guy. Also he wrote this handbook for engineers that is still in use today. Invented 3 phase, radio, fluorescent ,induction motor , wireless power, efficient high voltage grid, probably most major advance in 100 years. Deserves more credit, at least they named a unit after him.

  • Tesla was a Genius of his kind for sure and is perhaps a key inspiration to inventors and innovators everywhere, a sort of patron saint.

However if you want to know why there is so little of his work in the science text books, the answer is that he write any, he was an engineer and designer working in a new field, exploring it's dimensions from a purely practical and engineering perspective.

Everyone likes Tesla, but he should have done the math, his rants and scribbles are next to meaningless.

  • did NOT write any i mean, duh.

  • mars you mention that you have never heard of tesla and you mention that he was not educated. Just to clarify Tesla was a genius and he was WELL educated. He knew six languages and he had 700+ different patents i'd like to see you achieve something like that tesla created AC, neon, xray, wireless communication and many more. Don't criticize a man that you know nothing about, watch a documentary or read his biography before you dictate your false knowledge to others.

  • Also most of his work firstly vanished when his lab got burnt down, although he was able to remember alot of his work. Before he died alot of his work was confiscated by the government.

  • after he died his*

  • Comment removed

  • From what I have read about Tesla he was aggravated trying to dumb down the calculations to a level where the average physicist could understand it.

To put it in perspective, there are historical records that proved he did high level calculus and physics calculations in his head.

The real problem is that the FBI seized and classified all his research and notes hours after he died. These documents are still considered classified to this day.

  • i do not believe the FBI existed back then.

  • the FBI was formed in 1935, Tesla died in 1943, he was very good with math.

  • well i stand corrected

  • marsCubed, I read a biography of Tesla when I was a physics student. I got exactly the impression you had. He invented a couple of good things, but most of his work was incomprehensible, and he could be a supercilious blowhard. His work was technological, not scientific. He seemed to turn into a crank in his later years. His friends warned him to limit the cosmic rhetoric, as it was scaring away investors. He went to school, but didn't complete. The deification started after he was dead.

  • You need to read some books about Tesla my friend. We're not talking Michael Jackson here.

  • I have, they sicken me with their fawning personality worship, with no real substance on why he was so great. Yea, he invented the radio, like Edison invented the electric light (lots of dispute, and the inevitability of invention). Edison had way more patents, why is he so denigrated and Tesla so worshipped?

The worship is all based on what he "could have done" and ignores his failures.

  • Claymodeling1, the chemtrail crowd sucking up to Tesla is one thing, you calling Edison more important to our civilization then Tesla means your an even bigger dickhead

  • Where did I say Edison was more important? I asked why does every Tesla-worshipper point out Tesla's 100 patents as being so great, when Edison had 3 times as many? They, like you, hate Edison for some goddam reason. It obviously has nothing to do with patents or inventions, that's what I was pointing out. You're just too stupid to get it.

Also it should be "thAn Tesla means you'RE even a bigger dickhead". Can't spell, eh, dickhead?

  • @claybrain

Listen dipshit, i am not a native ENglish sheaker, WTF, all 6 billion people on the planet are English, so fuck off with the typos, Edison delayed the acceptance of AC power because of his huge ego, Its not the number of patents, its the QUALITY of patents. Now go follow a physics course instead of opening your stupid ingorant yapper!

  • So Tesla came up with the AC motor, and that's about it. As far as radio, he didn't even believe in Hertzian waves, but some wacko form of longitudinal waves that never worked. After he burned out around 1900, his contributions amounted to a lot of flowery language that passes for knowledge among uneducated new-age types like you. Tesla invented and patented things, but his concepts were wrong. Nobody designs a cell phone today using anything he believed. By the way, I'm a physicist.

  • LOL where did you graduate? Zimbabwe? Oh en magnetic fieldstrength is expressed in ...yes....unit TESLA. I guess the community (the physicist that is) has been dooped in thinking he is great.

About the new age crap,..., who was the conspiracy nutcase who said big companies are preventing feulcell tech? Your the one with the tin-foil hat "Mr phycisist"

    ROFLOL

  • I never said, or do I believe that big companies conspired to do anything. The Tesla unit of flux density was designated as one Weber per square meter, and was mostly an honorary award. Tesla's unit has another scientist's name in it, Weber. So, it's not that fundamental. I never said Tesla was a piece of shit, I think he was a good inventor, but just not a scientist that came up with any fundamental theories, so he was just like Edison, worthy of respect, but not cult-like worship.

  • They see me trollin' they hatin'

  • This is exactly the sort of statement that illustrates the type of brilliant internet satire that is sadly lacking. Oh, the pain....

  • Bye bye.

  • Not much of an argument. Loser.

  • Be a nice boy and say bye bye.

  • Fuck you.

  • @boxa888 not to mention induction cooktops, scalar/longitudinal waves and X Rays!

  • @randommush yea brotha! soo true!

  • @boxa888 amen

  • @boxa888 So? oO If I make a demonstration of Gravity I don't need to tell you about Newton

If I do a demonstration of the double-slit experiment I don't need to tell you about Young

If I show you chemicals burning in different colors I don't need to tell you about Wollaston or Frauenhofer

If I build a car I don't write "Thanks Otto" under it

It's nice to know who invented or discovered it but I don't need to credit them years after :D

  • @boxa888 yeah really, tesla envisioned and understood most electrical technology we have now. if it wasn't for marconi and edison always screwing him we would be so far ahead

  • @TheBassguitarking hey man if u get a chance just come on by and see my wireless demonstrations, u give the right people the funding and teslas technology would come back in a year! if we put the money that they want in cern then we would have the wireless power, the true flying cars, the real future we were suppose to have in the year 2000, its sad what happened, and then you have idiots criticizing tesla without even looking at the equations, pure brilliance, i show that the equations work!

  • @TheBassguitarking

    Can I get an AMEN?

  • nice tesla egg.

    more videos please?

    can you think of apps?

  • IT NEEDS MORE POWER!!!

  • The old Tesla Egg

  • Gee I thought a toroid contain the magnetic field in the core. The same must be true of 2 phase AC.

  • awesome

  • :) is it from my eyes or when u disconnect the ring it levitates more after the flux shutdown?

  • u should try an easter egg

  • It's difficult to tell but the egg shape piece spins cw when it starts up but seems to change its' direction to ccw when it takes on momentum. The metal ring is spun by hand to turn cw but changes to ccw as well. The cage like ball starts off on its' own spinning ccw and it seems to remain spinning ccw. Can anyone else see that? I wonder if the cage like ball is spun in a cw direction, would it change to ccw, just like the other two metal object do?

  • i believe that is a time/space illusion. after a certain rpm's your eyes cannot keep up "in time" and it appears to go backwards. the same is true with bike tires, fans, etc.

    i could be wrong though.

  • no it could`t change direction. Its just camera framerate illusion exactly as bccritters says

  • Correct.

  • The amazing properties of 3 phase

  • Cool induction motor example. :)
