I love dissolving into the feeling of this song... it's smart, modern and sensual. Bono's vocals sound incredibly sexy and at 4:14 you catch a glimpse.
@alienmachine How can you say that? :P "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb" is a great album, Vertigo, Miracle Drug, City of Blinding Lights, Make it on Your Own, I mean it is a great piece of music. "No Line On the Horizon" is good too, it grows on you more than it is catchy but also great. My favorite U2 album is "Pop" though :D
i have this song stuck on my head!! i just heard it again 3 days ago, and i'm still singing it ...very impressive, i love the sound!! i hope Bono get well and rock again!!
This might sound dumb today but the first time I heard Lemon it was late at night and it was on Rage (Australian all night music program). I wasn't really paying attention at first but it caught my interest. I did not recognize U2 at all until Bono dropped the falsetto and sang in a more familiar voice. Even then I remember thinking, "he sounds a bit like Bono... wait a minute... no... really? Nah... It IS U2!"... I have never been more impressed by such a dramatic change in a bands sound.
It was different for its time. When this came out, the trend was towards the seattle movement and grunge. However, U2 decided to lean more toward electronica sound.
Oh I used to go around saying lemon like this randomly for months when this came out...now it kinda sounds like Dave Chappelle as Rick James saying Unity...
Where the heck can you get this video, because I know it's not on the U218 Videos DVD, and I looked on iTunes, and it's not there either? I just wonder where the poster of this video got it.

This is the most beautiful song by U2. One of my absolute favorite songs of all time. <3

Brian Eno contributed vocals, synths, production, and ideas to this and all of the Zooropa album. I love when U2 and the Brainy One collaborate.

@Umbereth you probably have it already, but i thought i should mention that U2 and Eno made an "experimental" album under the name of "passengers"

This is my favorite U2 song, ever, besides Love Comes Tumbling. Sadly, they lost their way after "All you can't leave behind"....

very innovative for its time... i wonder how much went into this video's budget? Probably not as much as Thriller.
