This isn't really that good. I've seen worse but this is still kinda bad. If you edited the quills a bit, possibly change the shoes, or completely change the appearance it look way better.

That wasn't really a very good tutorial because the outcome didn't look all that good and it doesn't show shading and editing, just recoloring and occasionally doodling on stuff such as hair and jeans. For me, it wasn't that good.

While this is a good start, you need more work on it.

1) The hair not only doesn't match the style of the Sonic sprite, it also has a black outline and that's a no no.

2) You picked the wrong set of green as one should be MUCH darker/lighter then the other.

3) There's no shading in the jacket, which also has an outline.

4) The face still shows Sonic's original blue.

5) What about the gloves or the feet? You want them to keep those always?
