In the modern world, many religions don't want to get along with one another. But common sense says that after preaching so much hate and violence, people will either become fanatics or stop practicing religion or that specific religion. Sooner or later, that religion will have a bad connotation about it and die out.

Wow so I'm thinking of joining the clergy, I think this should be compulsory viewing during discernment. I'm a Christian, but I also enjoy these videos - nothing to wake you up to what is wrong with religion than an angry but articulate atheist. I really think it'd be a great way of helping people. In the modern world, many religions don't want to get along with one another. But common sense says that after preaching so much hate and violence, people will either become fanatics or stop practicing religion or that specific religion. Sooner or later, that religion will have a bad connotation about it and die out.

However, this new religion, it should be based on good morals and common sense.

Wow so I'm thinking of joining the clergy, I think this should be compulsory viewing during discernment. I'm a Christian, but I also enjoy these videos - nothing to wake you up to what is wrong with religion than an angry but articulate atheist. I really think it'd be a great way of helping people. You know pastoral care, helping people in their faith and doing charitable works. I kind of feel like God (or my mental illness) is guiding me to do this good to see some of the pitfalls.
