I'm debating whether or not to get a mac-mini (doubling as a DVR) and just sling that and cable tv to my iphone or get an Apple TV and sling it with my tv. Problem is with AppTV you have to have a computer always on and running :( although it would be sweet to have virtually any tv show or movie wherever you go (think a/v cables, friends house) The quality didn't look that great for your Q, I wonder how it would look on wifi on an iPhone 3G however.
You should mount on a tripod and get closes up of the Q screen and do a split screen so people can see that what's happening on the big screen also ... and you should start at the beginning and if you have to - show still shots of the connectors, having a guy walk around shaking a cheap camera and incorrect lighting reflects poorly on Slingbox - like you're just 3 guys in a dorm room - clearly not the case. You really, really have to redo this.
Great Info and not to be rude but pretty ineptly shot video. All the voiceover stuff makes sense & is nice and I'm not dissing the setup or Slingbox - both brilliant and must owns but you have to gind a real videographer - the camera work and the videography is pretty low level.
now thats what i call CROSS PLATFORM!!!!!! ...and they said everything needed to run the same OS (windows) for it all to work!!! ....the future is so bright... i got to wear shades!
@ 3:28 that's a shitload of cables haha ^_^
