  • This song just reminds me of hockey. Cause it's played whenever my home team scores a goal :)

  • first time i heard this song was on arctic air (tv show). love this song.

  • Can I get something straight? I posted a thing on rock n roll never dying cause I like it. I also have other preferences (like techno and dubstep). You think I wanted to get top comment? I got it cause people agreed with me. So stop this fucking shit about "pop is cool" and "you faggot" cause it's fucking pointless. I like rock and so do other people. End of FUCKING story. Im pissed of people getting mad cause im not a gay disney channel baby.

  • @PicknFlick1 if you like rock n roll so much then why compare it to pop

  • @damonb1231 you're damn right

  • personally I think its sad that most teens these days listen to crappy sex junk pop, personally I love imagination and I prefer it if my songs have a deeper meaning to them.

Do I fear that rock and roll will die? Certainly not, but I mean if everyone is listening to garbage then well, the music industry doesn't have to work hard to please us do they??

  • These guys were my first ever concert last year and they were pretty awesome

  • why dont you two rope smokers get a fukin room already lol

  • I'm considering raising a little hell, not on my own though:) Hurry up!

  • @wangobangodango Typical response I would expect from some dumb kid. Don't even address the whole comment, you hide behind your words but you don't scare anyone here. You thrive off annoying people and making threats to people who you'll never actually come face to face with. Get a life..(if you even made it past the first 2 words of this comment.)

  • @wangobangodango Lol..when's good for you? I can't spend one fucking night enjoying music videos on here, without one of you pathetic trolls popping up trying to get a rise anyway they can. Get a fucking life you stupid bitch.

What kind of adult says shit like that over the internet?

  • i met these guys in London Ontario aboput 10 years ago. they still sound great

You say Owl city, I say Deep Purple

You say Jonas Brothers, I say The Rolling Stones

You say Justin Bieber, i say Queen

You say Taylor Swift, i say Guns & Roses

95% of teens these days listen to the same crappy pop songs over and over. if your one of the 5% left who still listen to real music, thunb this up, then copy and paste it to least 5 video's. DONT LET THE SPIRIT OF ROCK&ROLL DIE!

  • @PicknFlick1 god every classic rock song has people posting these stupid things no one cares

  • @PicknFlick1 I agree with you, although Taylor Swift is amazing.

  • @PicknFlick1

Rock and Roll is here to stay, it will never die...Danny and the Juniors, 1958.

No need to be afraid, Rock and Roll won't die!

  • @PicknFlick1 I don't need to see that exact same comment on every single pre-90s hit song. You're not changing anything by posting that so please stop and let actually meaningful or funny comments get to the top rated ones. Thanks

  • @PicknFlick1 I totally agree with you 100% Rock N Roll Will Never Die ! For as long as I breathe!.

  • @PicknFlick1 You left out so many. Too bad you only get 500 words. Bob Marley, Supertramp, Jethro Tull, AC/DC, David Bowie..........

  • @PicknFlick1

83% of all statistics are made up on the spot

  • @PicknFlick1 you say zeppelin I say Gaga and kick you in the nads. Don't compare her to those other pieces of crap.

  • Comment removed

  • @jarvy1000 Yes, you use a chain letter format comment to get an easy top rated then whine saying that those younger than you are stupid. I'm absolutely certain that you're the older mature type. "I'm an adult, i deserve to swear on the youtubes before attacking others verbally! Yeeeeeeeeeehaw." I may have taken some creative license with that quoting.

  • @PsychoStreakBrony We're all just raisin' a little Hell, no?

  • @PicknFlick1 Dear shithead, the world is made of all kinds of people (including arrogant assholes such as yourself!) and that means that there will be people with different musical tastes. Now you say 'crappy pop' but I'm sure many would call your music 'pointless thrash metal'. I love Abba, Lady Gaga, CW McCall, Owl City, Queen, and many other bands that aren't pop or rock. Shut up and let people have opinions.

  • @PicknFlick1 SHUT UP YOU GODDAMN ASSHOLE no one is going to "let rock and roll die" anytime soon.

I'll tell you what's not going to save it, you spreading around crappy copypastas that we've all seen A MILLION FUCKING TIMES

  • @PicknFlick1 couuldn't agree with ya any more on that 1. might i add a few more analogies.....

You say Kanye West, i say Lynyrd Skynyrd

You say justin timberlake, I say Jimi Hendrix

You say Rhianna, I say Heart

    'nuff said!

  • The 80's will rise again

  • @PicknFlick1 I say you're gay and annoying, you say you're the lord of gays and the kind of irritants.

  • @PicknFlick1 you sound like you take music too seriously

  • I'm to young to have seen them in concert back in the day, man that must of been cool. I live in Edmonton, so I hear a ton about Trooper

  • By hell, do they mean kids

  • Best song ever

  • id say trooper is better than styx

  • I saw them in Montreal in 1978 opening for Styx. I thought they were better than Styx at the time. I bought a couple of their records, returned to the States after my "study abroad" year at McGill and forgot all about Trooper until driving today and hearing them on the Canadian Sirius channel. Brought back memories of being the only kid at Georgetown with a Trooper album. They were fun. BTW, Styx is better and have really aged well and brought in some good new blood.

  • They weren't genius, but they provided a great live show--saw them a couple of times, and they did entertain.

  • When we had our high school dances around 1974, there was a band called Applejack who came to town. This band was kewl, the lead singer was awesome they put on a good show. They later went on to Canadian fame as Trooper.

  • @Blade9450 not only am I canadian, I'm a newfie. :D. All in all though, Trooper is one of the best bands i've listened to

  • It is unfortunate that most people are sheep and do what the "Sheppard" tells them what is best for them, even though it's wrong. We need more Sheppards to "Raise a little Hell"

  • I photographed Trooper in 1977 in Calgary. To see the shots go to .ianmarkmusicphotos (.com)

  • Forgot about this one .. Nice

  • I was lucky to see them when they came to Prince Rupert almost 40 years ago now!!!

  • I loved Trooper....still do...was blessed to live in New West in the early 70's and attend alot of Trooper gigs. Yup, my favourite, all time Canadian band! And this is the song I want played when I exit stage left. Love and Peace!

  • this is my fave band of the 70s and the song was so right on

  • my fave band of the 70s and very great song for that time.

  • my fave band of the 70s and great song for that time.

  • my fave band in 70s. great song

  • This Is in the opening scene of drive angry In 3D I suggest see that movie and listen to this song, and use this as a protest song vs the Koch brothers, scott walker and sarah palin up In Madison wisconsin d tell them where they can their budget to hell.

  • I still have Trooper's "Hot Shots" on vinyl!!

  • raise a little hell oh yes we have all done that a time or two

  • Let me get this straight - is he asking us to "raise a little hell"?

  • The singer looks like a young Elton John. Kind of dresses like EJ did in the 80's.

  • finally I found this

  • I swear to God I heard this done by April Wine at an Iowa Jam about 1979 or 80.

  • @drfreud65 probably did, didnt think anyone would know or remember . thank you internet!

  • All those Canadian bands in the 70's and the 80's kicked serious ass!!!!!

  • they play this song at the hockey games i go to when the team gets into fights

  • I saw these guys live at Sunshine for free

  • not to contribute to the war of words but seriously SHUT THE FUCK UP AND WATCH THE VIDEO

  • Tobi, your either an ignorant prick, or not a guitar player at all. You should respect AC/DC's contribution to the history of rock. They have the most timeless (yes simple) riffs of all time. And angus young is a genius, and he can probably play ten times better than you. Its easy for you to sit there and criticize in your chair, but you arent out there playing your ass off in front of 60,000+ people a night doing the songs that defined a generation of rock. Piss on you

  • AC/DC weren't as repetitive as some people claim. They used many of the same notes, but rearranged the order to create new songs, which tranlates into sticking to a particular style, not actually being repetitive song after song, there is a difference. Unlike rap, hip hop and diva shit, now that garbage IS basically massed produced and ran in the ground. It's sad when people put down real musicians, yet millions of sheep listen to massed produced crap.

  • SHIT YEAH!!! ROCK ON! MAIDEN!!! \m/

  • @TitaniumByFire what you're saying is garbage. AC DC cant find a way to rock without playing the same fucking scale with the same fucking sound album after album. Trooper comes out with different sounds. Beck is a music genius, every album he produces has a different sound, that's a real musician.

What hip hop have you been listening to? There are tonnes of great innovative artists dropping albums all the time, check out Felt, check out Immortal Technique, real hip hop is still alive and well.

  • @Virtuosoplayr Rap IS ran in the ground. What is ironic is that you slam a real band and then endorse rap.

  • @TitaniumByFire i think this music won't die as fast as this new era music Rap is a different style its there and going to stay for a while. the "GANGSTA RAP"such as 50 cents, lilwayne and manny others is CRAP now listen to Eminem going through changes, tupac dear mama/you will see what rap is about it poetry that you might not like but that people of my age relate to. Now if you ask me if i find the late 70,80 music is better then are music i will say yes and 4 1 reason B4 it was music now $

  • @RAP1MPACT Rap is repetitive rhyming words done to a simple beat and noise polluting subwoofers that lack real instrumental integrity, and quite often rely on 4 letter words, and antiwhite and anti christian propaganda. Only black racist and white wannabe trailer trash listens to that garbage.

  • @TitaniumByFire I don't think that is correct and anyways its not as simple as you think the concept is but rest not so much. this is the music of my generation i like it i feel this kind of music its a choice if you don't like it i really don't care but if you don't like it leave it alone older ppl hate some much on what is the future like it or not when i "chill" i like to listen to that kind of music you won't listen to this kind of music to relax and take a drink .

  • @RAP1MPACT Do you hear yourself ? You talk smug insulting crap,....."I'm just young and like progressive music, and old folk just don't get it, case closed, so it isn't that my "music sucks", it's just that I'm too young, hip, and progressive for old bias fol". That's basically your attitude, which is immature, assuming/ignorant, and smug. I listen to new bands all of the time, but just because I don't jump on the trends doesn't make me an old fart for fucks sake, jeez.

  • @RAP1MPACT So it's not me being a bias old fart, you are being a bias trendy snotty little punk ass. You fit the cliches and stereotype of your generation, not me. And if you are polder than how you talk and "think", then man you can use some growing up.

  • @TitaniumByFire okay ill keep it at your a dick and i don't give a shit see ya dumb ass

  • @RAP1MPACT now i love eminem byt going through changes should have been left as a black sabbath song which will always be the best

  • @TitaniumByFire i hate rap, but acdc is still FAR too repetitive to be thought of as anything but commercial

  • @gibbsies As opposed to what kind of music ? Sure after decades they have become a household name, but for years they were anything but accepted by the mainstream.

  • @TitaniumByFire well, put them up against bands like cream, black sabbath, pink floyd, led zeppelin, even hendrix. And then there are people like frank zappa who just kind of blow them all away

  • @gibbsies Whatever, I like many of those bands for their different approach and feel and don't really compare any of them. But if you want to talk musical genius's, then let's talk Rush.

  • @TitaniumByFire Rush is great too

  • @gibbsies So is Steppenwolf

  • @TitaniumByFire This band is Trooper, not AC/DC

  • My very first 2 LP's I bought was Trooper's "Hot Shot" and Elvis "Aloha From Hawaii", in 1978. I've always loved Trooper. Saw Trooper at the Calgary Stampede in the mid-90s, still sounding as great as on their records!

  • The lead singer looks like the main character on the t.v. show (Big Bang Theory). Kicking song!!!!

  • I saw these guys when i was little xD

  • They are Canadian. End of argument.

  • @FredPhelpsLovesMen

what argument would that be? who's arguing with you? who gives a fuck if they're canadian, australian, or albanian? stop fucking politicizing it. it's a big world, it's full of music, enjoy it...they don't call it a universal language for nothing.

  • @equin0xia Woah, calm down now, I was just making a comment. Who gives a fuck what I think? Your comment was very hypocritical. If nobody gave a fuck then why would you reply? It's a big world, I don't have time to argue with people online. Also, English isn't the only language, there are many others that are much more logical; beautiful; romantic etc.

  • I got an autographed pic by them with my name on it:)

  • i love this the only song i like by trooper rock on! (//_^)

  • Seeing them this weekend!!1111

  • at 0:16 u can see a person waving a CANADIAN flag

  • Comment removed

  • The bassist is my uncle....(Scott Brown)

  • I thought this song was AC/DC. Guss it's not.

  • Trooper > AC/DC

  • I'm not meaning to be rude when I say this. Does that mean that trooper is better than AC/DC?

  • No matter what anyone says, Trooper will never be better than AC/DC. AC/DC pretty much gave birth to these guys. The guitarist is obviously a wannabe Angus Young. Besides they made way more albums than Trooper and they STILL play a kick ass show after 40 years (Not including Brian, he wasn't there from the beginning). I saw them last year in November. BEST FUCKING CONCERT EVER!!!

  • Thank you!

  • agreed, the guitarist is obv\iously trying to cash in on angus-FAILED. As far as acdc it is hard for me to imagine anyone will ever top them, though I guess it is possible. I do pose a question for you. You mentioned how the guitarist is trying a little to hard to be angus, which I agree. My question being, does the the lead singer seem a little bit like Bon Scott?

  • I see what you're saying, he does seem a little Bon-like, but Bon wasn't as flamboyant is this guy. He shakes his damn hips too much, I don't like it! But yeah, he definitely has the Bon Scott style hair. Good comment bro!

  • @olddickbrent

LOL...they sound NOTHING like AC/DC. try listening to "look so good tonight" and unless you're deaf, you'll hear that.

  • Trooper's first LP was released in '75

    AC/DC 's first LP '76

    Do your homework.

I like ac/dc but geez, the 2 bands are nothing alike.

And really if you want to be picky I think Angus is a Chuck Berry wannabe.

  • @2unreal2 AC/DC's first album was released in '75 too. Their first single was released in '74...

  • HungDonkey, you're wrong.

    Trooper are Canadian.

  • i have the privelege of seein these dudes june 30th in fort mcmurray ab. CANT FUCKIN WAIT!!!!!!!!!!

  • im irish too well scouse actually but i do have a shamrock tattoo
