But as far as the environment, setting, atmosphere, sounds, Overall Portrayal of a particular place, Medal of Honor is the Most Realistic and Authentic. ArmA isn't authentic. It functions like reality but it doesn't look/sound it, which is typical of most simulators. Graphics play a large part in authenticity, making something feel real. ArmA is realistic but not Authentic. I wish it could be both. Then it'll be the best!

yea, Medal of honor allied assualt was based on the real war, call of duty world at war was based on the real war. call of duty black ops was based on real American Proxy wars.

@Sovember But do you consider the MW spin-off to be a sequel to the world war games? No. Part of the same franchise. I could bring up many examples from the film industry. That Star Wars cartoon movie with 3d characters is part of the franchise yet it's no sequel.
If IW was not so successful, a lot of great games could have been released because the funding of each MW could pay for the development of a lot of games - while the MW games wouldn't be full of cancer and AIDS.

the only mission that was cosidered fun was the air port mission, everything else was boring as fuck
battlefield bad company 2 and call of duty 4 have way superior environment detail

the missions were boring, the gameplay was boring, the online gameplay was horrible.

yea, Medal of honor allied assualt was based on the real war, call of duty world at war was based on the real war. call of duty black ops was based on real American Proxy wars.
why couldn't EA have made MOH better? what the differences between world war 2, the cold war and the invasion of Afghanstain?
and if it was realistic the American special forces wouldn't have gone behind enemy lines, they would had needed the help from their North Alliance ally to help them fight.

@bf2lover42 Failing "commercially" isn't something to be taken lightly, a game has to do good in sales just like a movie has to beat it's budget. MOH is an ambitious game, and like you said, a more polished/quality game than Black Ops. Yet Black Ops crushed the game in sales, was ARCWOLF117 trolling? Yes, was he right? In a way yes.
You are right in your own way too, sometimes you the best things in life are underrated (not that hard to figure out). In the end that was still a bad analogy.

Failing commercially doesn't mean anything because you see gaming as an industry, I still see it as entertainment. There are many wonderful games that didn't sell and yet you can still play them because it's digital data. Not the same with books.

@Sovember I don't give a flying fudge about sequels. I'm sick and tired from them. If they made a BF3, why in hell would I need a BF3.1 all up to BF3.9? MW1, MW2 and MW3 are an agglomerate of spit and glue that hides the fact they are all MW1 in disguise. In my opinion DICE could burn to the ground if they ever pulled that dick move out of their asses.

@Sovember But do you consider the MW spin-off to be a sequel to the world war games? No. Part of the same franchise. I could bring up many examples from the film industry. That Star Wars cartoon movie with 3d characters is part of the franchise yet it's no sequel.
If IW was not so successful, a lot of great games could have been released because the funding of each MW could pay for the development of a lot of games - while the MW games wouldn't be full of cancer and AIDS.

@bf2lover42 My favorite franchise is Call of Duty, and I only play Modern Warfare, I"m biased like that. I don't like Black Ops or WAW, because Treyarch doesn't use the IW engine, which is the smoothest I've ever seen in a FPS.
Long story short, don't deny it, sales do matter. If Ps3 didn't sell, they would join the Dreamcast club, that woudln't be good if you were a Sony fanboy huh.

You know those top "10 games" lists some magazines do? For the PS3 they had to use blue ray movies to fill in the list. They failed their first year, and they are still going.
The Dreamcast is a wonderful console. I wouldn't mind the PS3 to join it, since DC had more potential (not SEGA fan).

@GenieJason well it's more than 3000+ players a day because every time I play and check the amount of players it always says about 3000 but that's just for that moment. I can tell you: there's probably about 20000 on a day.
