  • A myth is a myth is a myth.

  • dionysus was gay as hell.

  • Yup, all these prophetic themes foretoled the coming of the son of God - Yahweh / Jehovah incarnate. If the son of God was to appear at some moment in time, of course something that big would be experienced through the collective unconscious mind, which was designed and directed by God's active force, the Holy Spirit, which animates all life. These alleged parallels simly are pretexts of that coming truth. One God, and His name is Jesus Christ, as manifested in the flesh to relate the fallen.

  • @MolokaiAlika Athena, Dionysius, Horus, Mithra and Paris of Troy were all prophesies. Study ancient history, the facts are facts, nothing about Jesus is new.

  • This is weak sauce even Skeptics mag debunked all this Jesus myth crap.

  • actually the Skeptics mag only says that Zeitgeist wasn't well researched.

it asserts that jesus was a real person, who had myths placed around him post mortem.

Skeptic mag goes on to site the actual derivatives of the myths about christ.

vigin birth= pharoah Hatshepsut divine conception myth

12 diciples= the 12 tribes who pay tribute to the 13(jesus)

3 kings (star stuff in the flick)= magi(zoroastrian holymen) of no given number

    etc....

  • the solar resurrection concept is some what true, tho zeitgeist doesn't mention the importance of apocalyptic/messianism at the time.

the resurrection symbolism was derived from pagan traditions, but served a new purpose as the turning point in the battle between God and Satan and the pinnical of jewish hopes and dreams, aswell as offering a symbolic assurence of death+resurrection for the christian believer.

  • What do you mean "actually"? All I said was Skeptics debunks this Jesus myth crap which you agree with. They asert Jesus was a real person which Zeitgeist asserts he is not. Meh a longwinded response to a one sentence comment.

  • saying "they debunked this myth crap" implies that they said the jesus story was factual

  • No it does not you are reading into my statment. My statement implies only that Jesus was a real person not a "myth". The term "Jesus myth" is not my own, it is the name of the a theory.

  • jesus myth isn't a statement made up by the guy who made zeitgeist.

jesus is still a myth just not the one that the man in the Z claims.

there are various versions of the myth hypothosis, you should be clear about which one you mean.

  • O.K when I say "Jesus myth" I mean the theory that the physical man Jesus never existed and is only a sumation of various savior/ hero gods. Is that clear? How could I suggest that Skeptics mag proved that Jesus was God? That does not even make sense.

  • because you say that they "debunked the jesus myth theory" which implies that all theories of jesus being mythical are debunked.

you should have said they debunked the solar saviour hypothosis.

  • why such fucked-up "music" to get a point across?

  • Man, there are similarities between Jesus and Dionysus but most of your facts are wrong. Dionysus did not turn water into wine, though it sounds like something he would have done. There is no 'baptism' for Dionysus's worshippers. Dionysus did not have '12 diciples'. He rode a donky, but not 'triumphantly'. Dionysus did not die for the sins of the world. Dionysus didn't descend into hell, instead he rescued his mother from the underworld while still alive. No 3rd day resurrection, etc...

  • What a silly video, made by one very lazy person

  • I'm scandinavian, and up here christianity has been considered a joke since long before I was born. It's good to see that America is more and more throwing away that ridiculous religion. USA will be a nation of rational non-believers eventually. But it will take a long time still. Good luck in removing christianity! Greetings from Europe! :)

  • Well we have always thought christianity was somewhat of a joke.. ever since the vikings adopted it for just a fail safe.. you know it wouldn't hurt to be 100% sure you'd get into a good afterlife, right? ;) but they didn't really believe in it .. so the rather relaxed relationship to christianity in these parts have always been here.. And I totally agree with you :)

  • ...but don't you have the rebirth of Asatru? (Norse Paganism)

  • Oh dear, another unresearched attempt. These really are getting boring now.

  • St. Mark 7:5.7

  • Oh, awesome Remix Trance music. Wish I had it. THanks for the video it was fun to watch. The more I see vids like this the more christian Dogma seems silly to me and the understanding to engage in the world in a way where I try to a make a difference actually matters.

  • That artifact you showed is a hoax, idiot. The book Freke and Gandy cited said it was a hoax.

  • So your saying that the Jews In Israel, who by all secular accounts were very religious and by all accounts almost entirely Jewish. (see josephesius Antiquities and the Jewish war) Would follow one random god, which had been around for only 200 years. and was not even the main god, who happens to be Zeus. A religion that their HATED occupiers followed?

  • I was born and raised in Jerusalem. Lived most of my life as an athiest. I hated the Christians so much and thier God. But one day I was confronted with a matter of life and death. I sought help from all, but found none. I cried out to Jesus to prove to me if he is real. And he showed me himself and saved my life. I know now that God existed and Jesus is the only way to heaven.

  • Jesus = Orpheus

    Jehova = Jahwe = Iacchus = Dionysus

    Chronos Zeus Jesus

  • We'll never really know now will we in our Human form we know nothing until this form passes to the next realm so don't anybody think they know any cosmic truths..Opinions and assholes, everybody's got 'em blowing hot air. Including me...

  • Shit annoying music man

  • What is this Music?? Subliminal messages or What the F***

  • Excellent but one constructive criticism: You should say who Justin Martyr was (2nd century Christian apologist). You then transition to "He died on a cross." Who? Dionysus or Justin Martyr? Pronouns can be confusing.

  • you do know the Bacchus crucified is a hoax right?

  • I totaly do not even begin to understand what is depicted in this vid. maybe for starters cut the stupid distracting music, second if you explain something always keep in mind that people might see it knowing nothing about your topic or subject, end transmission.

  • Thus, a big question: How did the Vatican patent someone else's yarn? An older one at that? Nice video, need more like it.

  • harryo321 you say he was torn apart by women in early tradition he was said to have been torn apart by some means though there much split because of different traditions about him although in later tradition he was said to have been crucified on a cross

  • where did you get your information, spend 20 minutes and see most of you "facts" will be see nothing more then assigning events and facts concerning Christ to Dionysus, which just isn't the Dionysus myth. First fact is highly debatable, the myth of Dionysus'birth was from sex, or he wasn't born from a moral woman at all. And he died torn apart by women...too much foolish...

  • please note it says bakki(bacchus which is latin for dionysus)

  • the greek word "ΒΑΚΚΙΚΟC" = means "of Bakhos" = "of Dionysos". the word above says "ΟΡΦΕΟC" = of Orpheus..

  • Great as always!
