With all due respect, I love Lauryn as a talent. She's untouchable. But how can she still be supporting herself on Fugees' and Miseducation album royalties? She's released no product since then and is still obviously living a very comfortable life with six children. Festivals like this don't pay either do they?

Man I think Lauryn Hill much more better as and Artist now than ever, a new sound and she really fits in with the Festival crowd and atmosphere hope she plays Coachella again in 2012. And Im loving the new versions of the songs and I know some ppl didnt like LOST ONES but I thought it was good lots of energy...

you all who have negative comments are obviously not genuine Lauren fans. She even say it on her live MTV unplugged album. She's no longer doing the things that she used to in order to maintain her voice; she's completly natural now. This is the REAL HER no holds, bars, nothing!!! All the other artist with the emaculant sounding voices are doing unnatural things to their voices. So, just as the true artist she is, she has and will continue to draw masses of fans

Her voice isn't what it was obviously..... However I give her credit for experimenting with the arrangements on her songs.... She's basically been touring 2 albums for the last 10 years (The Score and Miseducation).... Obviously The Score tracks she is doing clefs and pras' parts.....

I love the arrangement she does on Ex-Factor.... voice is still there in some places..

i love her music.. but how can anyone defend this or any of her recent performances i mean really? the songs are almost unrecognizable. if it was some other artist and not lauryn singing we would all think its a horrible rendition of a lauryn hill song i saw her live last night in LA .. i had to walk out she was 4 hours late and sounded horrid, u couldnt even understand her during lost ones, it sounded like a totally different (crappy) song she use to be so harmonic!

she didnt have time for a sound check so thats why they are constantly trying to get the sound right the performer before her ran over and for coachella to work everyone has to be on time

It wasn't A-game Lauryn because it wasn't even C-game sound crew. She spent nearly all the performance giving signals or yelling at them and asking the public if they could hear.

@Gr33nAv3ng3r Absolutely not! But I have to agree that this is not a fantastic vocal performance. Lauryn is not exempt from having a "Bad Day" just like anyone else.

I think thats all it is......this perfomance has its moments.

I will still continue to bump her album like it came out yesterday because I do love her music.
