Actually their are still numerous sites out there that still accept US players. You just have to research. And the sites that blocked US players from playing like (Pokerstars+Everest Poker), probably have plans on taking legal action to make it available to US players again.

I think its more important in the long run to value bet the river.

More profitable too.

Only because on average if you bet out for 3 streets of value every time you have a hand then you are not only protecting you hand from outs that will kill you. But you are getting more chips in the pot when you have an edge.

On the flipside you will be making the same bets when you are bluffing, so you will be picking up the hands people fold also.

Maximising on and forcing people to make mistakes.

I remember when i played 25nl (played a lot a few years ago, like a freaking lot). The game style is so different on 2nl, that i couldn't play profitably on 2nl, but could get a lot of profit from 25nl.. pretty weird.. Just started again yesterday, inspired by your video.. It was like 2:00am in the night, put in 100$, stopped less than an hour later with 111$ i tell you 2nl was amazingly easy to beat! Athene, what if you record your 24 tables at higher stakes, and then commentate it afterwards (on the playback). That way you won't lose your focus during actual play, and you can edit the footage to slow down / zoom in / highlight during commentating, so it'd be easier for viewers to understand. You could also edit to speed up / skip the boring parts.

Hey, i play in pokerstars and i notice a lot of action hands (2 or more players getting very strong hands like for example AK vs AA) and a lot of bad beats(when you have like a 90% chance to win but you lose half of those hands). Athene, I love you, but 9 tables is too much. If a guy can actually learn anything from Micro Stakes (something I break easily, but I really enjoyed viewing you play regardless), it won't be able to keep up with the 9 tables, nor the short explains you come with. That said, if you don't mind making videos for a smaller ordiance, keep it out, but to get more viewers, I would try more indepthed explanations with few tables, or playing Low/Mid Stakes. Either way tho, I'll be watching you! :)

yeah, this was cool. I play a lot of poker myself and think this is great for new players who want to learn the game, I sugest doing 6 tables with slightly higher stakes to make things more interesting, 9 tables is too much going on for most new comers to grasp what you're talking about, playing 6 tables will let you describe your actions and reasoning a lot better and will help people to understand how to be a "good" player, instead of "I LIKE MY HAND, I'M ALL IN" type of play with no logic.

fishes on micro stakes call a lot and raise/bet only if they are strong. your strategy check raising on the river dont gives you a lot value. my playstyle on micro stakes is to focus on a tight play and doing valuebets where they are possible.
