I can certainly say that your PALAWOD FESTIVAL is much far from the KASAG, though u hav fluidity, as u say, ur movements are not too lively compared 2 KASAG, at the same time, the number of participants of Kasag are many compared to PALAWOD. Also, PALAWOD's performance is in an indoor venue with LIGHTING effects thus, making it too attractive...

last 2008 tribu kasag wore already the crab costume.FYI .type mo dinagyang 2009. watch and learn and listen from ilonggos. tribu paghidaet,tribu silak,tribu bola-bola,tribu himal-us, tribu taga jaro. and compare mo.and ul see the difference of ur festival to ours.

DEAREST FESTIVAL QUEEN, if you think your trying to boost your festival's name, in wat u hav done, it only shows that as their TOURISM AMBASSADRESS, i pity them for chosing you, for it is not that way, a certain ambassadress should act like... KASAG (Crab in English) will always OUTSHINE for it is our PRIDE, our PRODUCT which no other place can Claim...

With sympathy to TRIBU KASAG & being an ilonggo by heart.... I can certainly say that your PALAWOD FESTIVAL is much far from the KASAG, though u hav fluidity, as u say, ur movements are not too lively compared 2 KASAG, at the same time, the number of participants of Kasag are many compared to PALAWOD. Also, PALAWOD's performance is in an indoor venue with LIGHTING effects thus, making it too attractive...

congrats tribu kasag!!!!!!wala akong masabi sa performance nyo although sa you tube ko lang napanood pero maganda aabangan ko kayo sa aliwan kung sakaling makauwi ako sa april more power sa dinagyang tribe lalo na sa kasadyahan tribe ung sa dinagyang tribe na nanalo mukhang mas maganda ang last year nilang performance compare this year i hope na magandahan pa rin ang mga judges sa aliwan support pa rin ako sa festival nyo

Kasag is the local term for Crab..besides, ilang revisions lng ang pwedeng gawin sa crab costume coz of that hindi malayo na maging similar ang mga costumes d ba?and d naman pwede na maging ibang hayop ang costume ng tribu KASAG, eh crab nga ang portray nila eh...sus

PALAWDO FESTIVAL, winner of PASIGARBO SA SUGGBO 2008 can easily outshine this in ALIWAN! see u nalang! and by the way, this tribe copied their CRAB COSTUME hehehe just type PALAWOD FESTIVAL and see the difference...

FIELD DEMO MOVEMENTS? I compare mo nga ang fluidity at transition ng dance ng TRIBU KASAG & PALAWOD FESTIVAL nako ate ang layo. COSTUME at PROPS pa nga lang eh walang wala na ito. Ate hindi naman sa nagmamayabang pero alam ko naman ang sinasabi ko eh totoo naman lahat yun. hehehe enjoy nalang at ika nga... See u sa ALIWAN! I want to see MORE! MORE PRACTICE... hehehe

ay ate. ibang-iba ang story ng tribe na ito sa palawod. ito kasi, BARTER OF PANAY ang theme. ang palawod, alam ko eh thanksgiving lang sa. january 2008 pa lang, naka crab costume na to. at ang festival ng BANATE eh KASAG FESTIVAL dahil crab ang main product ng buong bayan. sa palawod naman, kahit anong sea creature pwede. nagkataon lang na crab din ang pinili ng palawod.
