  • Florida really got pissed off. Lol. When James kept nagging at her for no reason. At duration 4:37, James can be a real Asshole on certain occasions. He was only thinking about himself more than her feelings. I mean Florida can be annoying. When it comes to her christianty beliefs on certain things. Ugh, I couldn't stand that crap. Well that's what she believed in. I might not agree with it. But oh well. I love Good Times.

  • James had his priorities straight, tell her to get in that kitchen and do her job! 3:35

  • "you ever been to the clinic?" *ahahahahahaha*

Just wait all of America is gonna be like this soon with Dohbummer Care.

  • James had it right...if he could see into the future, he'd know his predictions came true

  • That meeting they were in, making jokes & thinkin spousal abuse is funny...its a wonder w that kind of mentality, for most black women, its still an everyday reality. Definitely the WRONG MESSAGE. Who in the hell wrote that show anyway? A sexist, chauvanist, racist pig? Florida slapped the wrong person anyway...she shoulda slapped James!

  • Fuckin Rite James Evans! My dawg, my nerve, my whodie, my round!

  • The kitchen and the bedroom the kitchen and the bedroom

  • The Kitchen and the Bedroom LMAO

  • Once and for all, John Amos left the show because he wanted to pursue other acting roles. It wasn't because he was jealous of walker or because he did not like him.

Esther left to also pursue other things but came back when asked by the shows producers. This bullshit of them not liking JJ's character is not true!

  • 4:23...look out James, you done pissed off Florida.

  • wilona's haircut is awesome in this episode :-)

  • @KiaraRoxATT246 there's a huge difference between the actual person and the character the person portrays.

  • @usmcforever02 hmm tru but seriously tho i luv good tinmes :D

  • The Kitchen and the bedroom florida man I was ROLLING LMAOF EXTRA HARD

  • @ThinkBig2020 LAUGH MY FUCKIN ASS OFF!!!!! THE KITCHEN AND THE BEDROOM FLORIDA!!!!! THE KITCHEN AND THE BEDROOM!!!!!

  • THEY EXAGGERATE WAY TOO MUCH IN THIS SHOW!!!!!!

  • Actually, James wanted to leave. He said he was tired of playing the role of another poor black man that's stuck in the ghetto. He left Good Times to star in Roots.

  • Oh God, that cackling Hens part is hilrous. Man I use it in school nowaday and that shuts them up all the time!

Go Florida and R.I.P Miss Rolle

  • I love a man that takes control of his family, but not so controlling where he believes women need to stay in a place prepared by men. People need to find out who they are, if they want to know where their going. Florida just needed some time to figure out what she needed. I do not feel she even knew what was wrong. If you feel lost and upset all the time, take time out to figure out what you need in order to take control of your life, and to better situation. The Good times will come.

  • @denariarmstrong1 it's a place perpared for them by nature.

  • Florida is a very sweet woman with a very loving family

  • I love they're family. :]

  • I love they're family. :P

  • THE KITCHEN AND THE BEDROOM!!!

  • @needles1987 Amen.

  • i couldnt stand James, im sorry but hes soo controlling and a female basher. He treats his wife as if she is beneath her and Im a male saying that

  • @Norav18 Bless Your Heart Sweety! Good For You! So Good To Hear That From A Man! THANK YOU!!!!!

  • ever notice that James wears the same pants in every episode :)

  • @ninae1968 and florida always wears brown/orangish colors

  • i hate when men have that mentality that a woman is just a servant and a sex object.....ugh the sad part is its 2010 and men STILL think this way....i mean come on now ugh

  • THE KITCHEN AND THE BEDROOM FLORIDA, THE KITCHEN AND THE BEDROOM!!!!!!

    LMAO!!!

i crack up everytime i watched this episode and hear him say that.

  • thelma is not that cute she an upiity something

  • @clearwhitecrystal She could be annoying sometimes.

  • MegaZeitgeist, John Amos left because he wanted to pursue other acting opportunities.

  • OH SHUT UP JJ lol everyone is telling him to shut up

  • this was a very good show;and the role model that james play was good. he took up for his family, and took no shit from nobody. it is still a few men like us around;because i will never leave my family.

  • a woman does her best work, in the

    ,KITCHEN&THE BEDROOM!!!

  • Right on! Florida said it like it's meant to be told. I hope James remembers that.

  • @Igotdapowa James was totally insensitive to Florida's feelings. He was also out of line as well and showed her disrespect as his wife. All he was worried about was Florida cooking his dinner. Why didn't he cook his own dinner? Also, why didn't Florida get a job outside the home if she wanted fufillment? Her kids were grown up. She felt empty and alone inside and she needed something else in her life besides her family.

  • I am glad the character James was on GoodTimes because it showed how fearless a black man can be for his family. And they should of kept his character on the show that was a crazy move on their part.

  • I agree with you.

  • He was perfect he was strong and sensitive at the same time....A lot of fathers just either are never around or they yell and beat all the time, never listen. He had all the right stuff, best Father figure of all times, even though it was TV, his character was realistic, he was changing and growing as a character. His relationship with Flo was one of the best Black Man/Women rolls on TV. Good Times was a brilliant show, it was progressive.

I heard the reason why they took him out was money

  • No the reason why John Amos was removed as a character is because he got mad at people who said they had a problem with Jimmy Walkers character JJ. They said he acted to black steriotypical by drinking so much Kool-Aid and saying Dynomite! So that made John Amos leave the set of Good Times.

  • @MegaZeitgeist nowadys they are so fearful, they need a gun to feel like a man.

  • @dstewart28 Yeah thats just some of them though.

  • @MegaZeitgeist If I'm not mistaken, they wrote his character off the show because they felt the actor was demanding too much money and other stuff.

  • @jehrkth No thats not it.

  • @jehrkth He was written out and killed off because he and Esther was tired of JJ's character of being too bofoonish and not maturing and he wanted the writers to focus on Thelma and Michael more and JJ to mature. Once they killed him off, the show went down hill. Especially when Esther left. When they asked her to return she said she would one 3 conditions She wanted JJ to mature, she wanted her second husband written out and she wanted an increase in pay

  • @MegaZeitgeist Naww James quit the show running his mouth about J.J.'s character. He didn't like J.J's character personally for me there was nothing wrong with j.j.'s character or the writters of the show I think James was out of line. Hell J.J. was the most popular character on the show and James was hatin on him, so screw James, I liked James character too but he was jealous that J.J. was the star. He wanted J.J. to be more serious, Man james shut the hell up the writters know best

  • @ThinkBig2020 right on

  • @MegaZeitgeist I agree, the producers really f'ed up big time. Had James still stayed on the show, it would have lasted longer than 6 seasons.

  • @MegaZeitgeist It wasn't a "crazy move" they wanted a larger demographic, and knew a strong black male figure wouldn't stand well with a white audience. Keep in mind this was the early 70's.

  • @tonybklyn It doesn't matter they should of stood their ground and kept his character on that show lord knows tv needs this image.

  • James has problems, I not tryin to be mean, I mean in real life hes a good actor, but I dont like James, Im kinda glad he was off the show, everytime I saw him get mad, I thought he wouldve either hit one of the kids, or Florida.

  • @tokunaga432 I have to disagree with that statement because if James was kept on in season 4, Michael would have never joined a gang, JJ would have never had the illegal drug dealing job from episodes 407 and 408. As far as Ibe, that would have been extremely interesting if James was there. As far as Carl, he would have never been on, and Penny and Keith would still have still been on seasons 5 and 6. I guess we will never know what would have happened

  • I always get a lump in the throat at the end these episodes

  • willona, is kinda hott

  • very. foxy lady.

  • very fine lady

  • @rodcube I always thought Wilona was really pretty. Her skin is gorgeous.

  • @RetroJenny Right on she is beautiful
