But my comments referred to the kids who pump motor mod's galore and don't do much to improve chassis dynamics and handling. And go look at Nurburghring records. Vettes, 911's, BMW M's and CTS-V's/GTR's and Vipers dominate the top of the charts in terms of road goers for a reason.

As for my car being slow,I could argue with u all day about that subject and we won't get anywhere. I don't know what GSR's you've been running against, but I've got a 94 civic hatch with a bone stock gsr. I've walked 2 90's mustang v8's, an 06 dodge ram 1500. 5.7L hemi with a super chip, and an 80's model camero. Hell I walk a mustang with my slightly modified single cam civic!!!

Civic for 5g's, 20g's in motor alone, but what about the tranny? what about getting that 20g motors power to the ground? That's another 20g's for tranny, chassis, suspension. Right there your at 45g's for the civic and 25-30g's for stock Camaro SS. Put 10-15g's into SS and civic will lose. I respect the Tuners as they make serious power and can take vettes and vipers all day. No replacement for displacement.

Were talking about a heavy ass camero that needs 350-400hp to move it compared to a much lighter civic with a 200hp motor. Racing is all about power to weight ratio and transmission gearing. I don't know what GSR's you've been running against, but I've got a 94 civic hatch with a bone stock gsr. I've walked 2 90's mustang v8's, an 06 dodge ram 1500. 5.7L hemi with a super chip, and an 80's model camero. Hell I walk a mustang with my slightly modified single cam civic!!!

@rvd6669 Those are not worthy. Beating a Ram truck thats not built to race. 80s camaros have 305's in them and might make 180hp and maybe a bit more in 88 to 89. Instead of saying the cost of a camaro i can get a civic for 1/2 the price, i can say I can also get an older camaro for the same price as your civic. Mines V8, your 4cyl. Lets both dump 10K into the car. Guess which car is going to be faster? Play and skew the imaginary money modification game all we want, end result is V8 = faster

@rvd6669 If you're civic hatch has a GSR swap and you also just told me you took a mustang with your slightly modified single cam civic, than with just what info you have said, you dont even know you're own car since I believe GSR's are DOHC, but i apologize if im incorrect as I have left the import scene years and years ago and you should as well if you want to go fast

Y make argument of cheaper civic w/ 20K into mod's instead of a 25-30K stock muscle car? Civic for 5g's, 20g's in motor alone, but what about the tranny? what about getting that 20g motors power to the ground? That's another 20g's for tranny, chassis, suspension. Right there your at 45g's for the civic and 25-30g's for stock Camaro SS. Put 10-15g's into SS and civic will lose. I respect the Tuners as they make serious power and can take vettes and vipers all day. No replacement for displacement.

On forza 3 i have a turbo integra type R, horsepower is almost equal to a camaro ss and still smoke it on a drag =) you cant just race a car twice your HP well duh common sense you would lose. Turbocharged it to equal its horsepower and lets see.

@Kourdain Uhm.. I'd say the cost of a Civic with turbo and mods needed is comparable to any vehicle an LS1 came in providing the LS1 is in good condition. You should define "unreal", because a general statement like that just makes you a troll. By my personal definition of "unreal", he wouldn't have gotten traction until 4th gear, and when he did, would blow passed the camera car like it was standing still.

obviously the guy that shot the video is in the car with the pushrod motor so I think he would know if its an LS1 or LT1. Seriously....you can tell from seeing part of a dash and part of the side from a mirror and the sound that that's an LT1? You are the first person I've ever met that is that talented!
