In the book Odyesses and his crew made it past Scyria and Chrydbolis and but then later on, ended up getting sucked into it for eating the ram. Here, they got past the dragon but went over a waterfall into Chrydbolis. So either way, they were screwed from the start.

they left so much out of this movie and changed it. for the most part it they illustrated it well but should have stuck with the original myth.
