tbh I once mixed with studio cause me causin lost my HDJ-1000 and it worked well but the battery died after like 1 hour of performance. So always bring exta batterys!!

no, the beats are not that great for DJ'ing. i can tell you through my experience. the beats make the songs sound different from what they are. when im cueing a track i hear it in them and think this has too much bass. but then i take some out and wheb it comes through the speakers there barley any bass. same thing happened with highs, and mids before. now i use senheiser hd-201s. best for the price.

Ugh yea... Those headphones aren't great... But my most favourite headphones are the THEY ARE FUCKING SICK! Next to those are the Allen & Heath Zone XD- 53s.. I'm STILL trying to find some top notch headphones with bad ass bass, I'm going into a Bose audio class, and am getting into dubstep and drum and bass. So if there are any recommendations that are better than the out there please tell me!

the Beats completely color up their sound so you can't hear every nuance and microdetail you can with a real DJ headphone, which is really crucial if your going to be mixing, monitoring, or DJing.
