Of course it is a true story about a woman who has only recently been released from home arrest after around twenty years. the government's reason for imprisoning her: her denouncement of its military tactics and for heralding a peace movement that promoted democracy and human rights.

Do yourselves a favour: take interest in world affairs instead of wasting your lives and intelligence watching hogwash on your television sets.

Nevertheless, I stand by "ignorant", my opinion being strengthened further by the fact that people are deeming this space fit to discuss Harry Potter films (of which I too am a fan) instead of focusing on what the woman depicted has had to sacrifice for her people. As someone else said, she is the "Mandela of this generation", and to be so shallow as to doubt the story's truth, while not even considering googling her name up is, to me, outright ignorance.
