can someone tell me any other bands just like this. i listen to lots of depressive black metal but i can't really find anything soft and bassy like this with chick singers
@Nadel350 They were right in some way, Neige is a talented musician capable of doing so, check out the song Bonheur Ampute maybe you'll see the post/black metal influence.
This is a very special indie rock song. I come across alot of indie vids on youtube and I would have to say that this is one of my favorites. The hook is nearly perfect in my opinion.
@YeahICanLiveWithIt I hope you are trolling. Indie Rock? Sounds like Post-Punk/Shoegaze to me. They also have Black Metal and some Post-Rock elements. Depends on the songs.
@IgnemAeternum Indie rock can be alot of things. My Bloody Valentine would have been considered indie before people recognized the term shoegaze. Alot of post punk bands were called indie bands aswell.
@warpigANONYMOUS didn't know where to take the music. i think the whole concept of touring was a little too much for Audrey since the rest of the band doesn't mind touring with Niege of Alcest
@darkbarrage99 I heard there were some personal conflicts or something like that. Something with Neige and Audreys's boy-friend? I forget. But I remember thinking that it sounded like they could have just calmed the fuck down if they had wanted to. It's a shame they didn't.
@warpigANONYMOUS there're some rumors they're going to re-unite. Anyway all their music is based on the Neige's talent and he's not going to give up. So we're going to listen to more music of that kind, under the 'amesoeurs' brand, alcest or any others that he will create.
