@RockyRaccoonsFriend Mike D'Abo probably did initially sing "bitches", but in order to have their record played on the radio, they would have had to compromise and change the word to "pigeons"
It was very common in the 60s to either lip synch or to record a "live version" to which they could fake play along with. Another common practice was to use recorded music but live vocals. Sounds here like the record is playing and they have vocals live on top of it.
I always wondered, on older shows that featured a musical guest, what was the point of having them on if they were just going to lip sync? (Besides promoting whatever they were coming out with.)
@bas1010 Big drugs homie....when Quinn the Eskimo got here.....they got all their drugs....Nobody could get any sleep because they were all froze...,.
Heyyy..take a look @ 1:05 is'nt he Klaus Voormann?? the almost 5th beatle of Hamburg fame?? a very talented artist, graphic designer, painter and bassist and memeber of John Lennon's Plastic Ono Band?

Yeah, it is Klaus Voormann. Incidentally, this song comes from the basement sessions at Big Pink - Dylan and The Band hanging out.

I wasn't even born when this record came out but the music of this era is better than anything today.
Thanks for this clip!

I was nearly a year old when this show was aired in1968. Love "The Mighty Quinn", great song.

I totally agree i wasn't born until 1991 but the pop music scene of the 60's puts this era to shame.
