I am looking forward to buy this motherboard bcuz my DAMN old ASUS P5SD2-VM has too much issues with computing and gaming performance. I have Intel Dual Core E5700 3.0GHz and Radeon HD 5670 512MB GDDR5. So is this mobo will be a good option for gaming purpose?

Im using seven-64 with this mobo , but i cant record sound. The only input i can see is MIC. Im using 4 programs to record stream sounds. Cant fix; damn it.

@greekcs you should check the socket of your processor, this board comes with a socket LGA 775 that means as far as I know quad core, core 2 duo y pentium dual core.

I use this motherboard at the the moment with an Intel Core 2 duo E7500 processor, 4 gigs of DDR3 Ram and an Nvidia GeForce 9400GT graphics card ... I'm pretty happy with it but what I want to know is ... what is the best graphics card that I can buy that will be compatible with this motherboard and my existing configuration??

Hey got this mobo for havin my q9550 working again and it goes kinda hot.

Havent installed windows yet, and when messing around bios, cpu temp is like 35ºC 1 sec after cold start, but it quickly climbs til 40, 45 and it is stuck between that. Then the motherboard temps stays at 37ºC and when i touch d blue heatskin is hot as hell, is that normal? i can't imagine playin bad company 2 there if when goin around bios just after a cold star runs that hot...

Hey this is the only mobo i could find to replace my dead nforce 780i SLI.

When mounting my Q9550 i noticed it required quite much force for pulling down the lever. It was totally alligned, i lifted up at first cos i was unsure and the cpu was ejected twice, at third attemp i pushed the lever all the way down, it was very stiff and in the middle i heard some crack.

Did u have the same experience when u mounted ur cpu in this mobo?

@furbyunicejafisher Hmm are you sure your using the correct cpu with this board? Mine wasnt to bad when pushing the lever down. Sometimes with some boards and cpu's there may be a slight crack noise if both the motherboard and cpu are new, i have found this with many boards.

@mattyvt93 Yeah ofc, it's a Quad core, it was totally alligned, adjusted it many times, but if cracking on new boards, n specially on cheap boards... ehm it's ok. Can't say if it works cos i need a 4pin adapter, my psu only has 8pin.

I replace my P5Q turbo with this last week,the only thing thats need to replace is the RAM..its run DDR3 1333MHz RAM...and with my Core 2 Duo 2.93Ghz combine with GTX460,walaw..the most budget gaming PC..my P5Q can start due to "accidentally" clicked the sleep mode and didnt wake up..the probs is the motherboard..so I replace it with this...good motheboard for its price..

@HGAMES69 As long as the video card is a PCI-E compatible card it doesnt matter weather it uses DDR2 or 3 I ran an ASUS 1gb DDR3 card with this board.

@HGAMES69 Yeah it shouldnt be a problem having that on this board, as long as its socket 775.

The min watts i would use with this motherboard is around 550 watts.
