Richard! GREAT work/ thanks a MILLION for putting this together on behalf of the broken-hearted voters of Sarasota County. This is VERY important viewing, critical really, for every American voter...
Kathy Dent is still up to some pretty tricky slips, down here. Thank you again for helping to keep our strangely beligerent, sneaky, election law violating, democracy parsing, anti-citizen-oversight, witchy SOS DENT in the YOUTUBE spotlight.
She has been time and time again exonerated from ANY ACCOUNTABILITY in this devious fiasco of an election in 2006...and is now seeking her second term.
Voting Machines can rig an election and the software used cant be detected without a proper access code.ONE Master terminal could control thousands of machines final counts.Demand a paper ballot or risk an invisible electronic Coup D'etat.
There was actually three of us (I was handling the camera). I was in Sarasota just for a few days because my documentary on electronic voting (The Right To Count) was playing in the Sarasota Film Festival. You're totally right with your comment regarding people in position of authority...
The Sarasota Herald Tribune (www.heraldtribune.com) is covering the lawsuit. On their main page, at "District 13 elections. Thanks for your interest in this very important issue.
Confusing... who was the 'Deputy Sheriff coming out'? The driver? Why didn't the precinct captain and the Lawyer press charges -you had several eyewitnesses behind you toward the building- assault with a deadly weapon? Geez! Can you imagine if you guys would have been black?
That's all she wrote, I'd think. *_*
What was that Deputy Sheriff doing chauffeuring her around anyway?
These are all good questions. Both the Lawyer and the precinct captain were very upset with that driver pushing through us (and hitting the Lawyer), but at the time the main concern was to get answers for irregularities in the voting process and that took priority over anything else. There is a lawsuit going on right now in Sarasota over the election results, and this is where all the focus is. It's just a matter of priorities.

Truly disgraceful.

okay I guess I'm just sick & tired of men in positions of authority acting like A__holes & getting away with it. He has superiors to report him to.
Like I said - can you imagine what he would have done had you both been young black men?
You are two human beings... this is certainly as important as the voting issue.
I would really like to see more comments from the forum in Sarasota held by People for the American Way, reporting voting machine irregularities. ^_^
Thanks again,
Nanette
