@WoutStopmotion it is the same because they have mentioned that it has full mod and kart customization and the gameplay looks the same as the PS3 because i have played it on the PS3. I will buy this when i get my PS Vita!

@darkuser999 I don't think you can play with PS3 users but you will be able to download all content that has been made on the PS3 version of Modnation Racers.

First I was like OMG Awesome! but then I did some research; this thing does not have internal memory and needs a special memorycard. So it doesn't work with a cheap SanDisk. A good thing is that you can save your save data on the game itself. But also not all games will provide this feature, like Uncharted. The memory sticks are available from 4 GB to 32 GB. 4GB will be around $30 and 32GB around $120.

@JogBird you've clearly never played modnation racers before. The character creation tools can be used to make your guy look like pretty much anything. And If you don't want to make it yourself you can guarantee somebody's already made it if its a popular character. I have Kratos, sackboy, and drake on my ps3 and it wont be hard to get them on the vita.

The PS3 version is incredible, the track editor is nuts, the customization options are crazy, it would be so BOSS if there were cross-platform multiplayer between vita and PS3.

@DSR505 I played MK7, it's absolutely going to give a staler experience than Modnation Racers: Road Trip. It's sad when Modnation Racers on the PSP is so much better than the new MK7; I was a huge Nintendo fanboy until the 3DS, that destroyed most of my goodwill toward Nintendo.

Modnation Racers: Road Trip is $30, by the way. MK7 is $40. Funny how the clearly superior game with tons more content and much more solid gameplay is cheaper, isn't it?

You also forgot that Mario Kart has extreme rubber banding now... which is nintendo's way to "challenge" good players.

Modnation can be more challenging but MK has more creative/exciting tracks with an interactive/animated environment. With that said..... those tracks get pretty boring quickly and once you're tired of them you can't do much else but put the game aside.
