This game is cool... I like how TC cut out all the stupid economic aspects of an RTS game and got right to the modern combat... I also like how there isn't one cheap overpowered unit.... (Helicopters on most games...) And instead they made a unit killing cycle. That way people can't just spam the same overpowered unit as their entire army and forces them to diversify their army.

I'm just saying that if I want to I could do that, not that I sit around listening to police scanners, it was just an example, really there are hundreds of things you could do, I just can't think of them all, or don't know about them.

Consoles today just cannot match PC for things such as resolution, which can go as high as 1600p, the highest console will upscale to is 1080p.

PC is just a better overall multipurpose gaming rig. And you don't NEED to spend thousands..

I'd rather just have one system that does it all, and has great graphics. And gaming with a mouse & keyboard is good, maybe the odd game it might be stupid, but for the most part, I enjoy moving my mouse just a tiny bit, without it going furthur than I fucking wanted it to, without getting sore thumbs. and you can tweak a mouse to work even smoother, by sending more information to the computer every second. Called "Polling Rate"

Ok i dont know anyone whose had sore thumbs after playing a game lol. You rele gotta beat down on a button repeatedly like an animal to get your thumb sore. As for the mouse, sorry I believe you should be able to move a character and aim a gun without much work. Sure dont get me wrong I love my vaio, i watch movies in my bed and download music and do all the things you mentioned before, but when it comes down to gaming, consoles got my pick. Thats what theyre made for lol

it's really not hard to move your character with the arrow keys, and aim your weapon with the mouse, it doesn't feel funny at all.

most of the time, your just holding down the up arrow key, and moving the mouse, and pressing the mouse button to shoot, I don't know what's so hard about that.

and I have tried using a controller, it's much more difficult, and you have probably just gotten really use to using a controller.

but if you could start from scratch again, and learn to use a controller while at the same time learning to use a mouse & keyboard, I'm pretty sure you would take less time to get use to the M&K

seriously, I don't remember having ANY difficulty learning to use M&K, I remember controller being annoying, and awkward, and just plain unrealistic in it's movement.

I'm sure you would probably find more people that say PC is better for gaming, as far as controls go. You can forget playing Command & Conquer on console, why do you think it is that C&C is NOT on console? it's because it's unrealistic to be able to play that game properly with a controller.

moving a mouse a short distance is like a second thought, with a controller, you have to take into consideration how the thumb stick works, and you have to concentrate much more on how much pressure to apply based on how fast you want it to move, and it just becomes ridiculous when your playing a fast paced game. Sorry Mouse & Keyboard is just more natural.

I don't want to have to worry about the controls when I play a game.. you don't think about your arm much when you move it...do you?

I remember playing Goldeneye, and my thumbs being sore after hours of playing, not really sore, but it's noticeable, and just kinna stupid to have to use a controller, that feels uncomfortable after a while.

ur dumb man, your controller is the same thing... you use a directional pad, to move forward, backwards, left, and right, and then you have one for up and down, and a button to shoot... doesn't sound anymore difficult that using a Mouse & Keyboard, and besides I can use "OCZ Actuator" AKA "NIA", and control the game with my mind. So yeah, have fun using a game pad, while I use my mind to control my games :-)

lol, all I know, is that when I used a controller, if I wanted to move fast without moving further than I wanted, most of the time it was difficult, and I'm sure I could become good at it after a while, but I don't see what the point is, M&K is easier, accurate, smoother, more natural. it's fine if you like controller, but I have used controllers for years. and they really do not compare to M&K. I played for like 4 years straight using a controller for like N64, and then PS2

lol, U can build a system that will play ANY game maxed out easily for $1,500, that's not bad considering just a few short years ago "Mom & Dads Crappy Computer" was $1,500

With a PC you can play games in DirectX11, in 3D, Play with alot more people online, play on custom maps, make or download mods for games. Download Music, Movies, or Games. Chat with people online, use the Internet. use it for Audio and Video media creation, listen to one of thousands of radio stations, watch T.V online.

you need to understand that I don't hate Console, it's a great system if you wanna play games, and watch movies.

but if you want to do all the other things like modding games, and all the other stuff I mentioned, you simply can't do that.

and PC does have DirectX11, and console has DirectX9

so clearly PC has the upper hand with it's increased graphics capabilities, and additional features, not currently available on console.

@Joel0277 I own a PS3, XBOX 360, and a very High End PC. I have to say, I enjoy the PC more due to the fact, games look sharper on a PC and the right monitor. PS3 is nice when you got HDMI hooked up and the 360 with HD, but the PC graphics crushes them all when you're running a top of the line Nvidia or ATI card with a Quad processor and 8 gigs of ram inside your machine. There's a reason PC's cost more than consoles, consoles are the poor gamers way to play todays games. Face the facts bud.

um, I never have problems, just need a good viruscanner, and I rarely run into complications, and don't have compatibility issues. And surely your aware that you can remap any of your keys, so that you don't need to use to default reload key.. I play games just fine, and better than a console. Using a controller is a totally unnatural feel. Mouse it much more accurate and smoother. and I can play custom user maps for any game. Can you play custom user created maps on console? I don't think so

"R" is the key for reload, always has been, always will be. and NO you don't press Z to shoot, god, what the fuck, shoot is the left mouse button, the whole concept of a mouse and keyboard is much more realistic than a controller.

and like I said, you can program whatever key you want, and you get WAY more keys than a Controller..

another game favored for online game play, developers are getting lazy and using online game play to free themselves of their job by not making and finishing a game properly. some of us do like a in depth story along with top of the line campaign mode with over 20 lvls. that doesnt seem to exist any more. the games are too short and more glitchy than the previous consuls. the hardware for ps3 and 360 are more advanced than the previous systems but you dont see it in the new games.online trix u
