@MrFuzzySheeps if ur xbox has lost its warranty and u know how to open ur xbox put sum grease on the lens rollers e.g the 2 metal rods in the disc drive, dont put to much or the lens will stick and it will get stuck.

try this and i bet itll work :)

Just open your xbox it wound read because one of the 2 Sara cable connecting your disk-drive to the motherboard is unplugged mine was the black cable just push them hard avaunt the board and the disk-drive and close it up done no need for 3 week wait fix which is just bullshit wait time when there going to send you a new xbox

i just fixed mine.. i took my xbox and disk(game) drive apart using a video posted on here and then watched a few different videos on why i could be saying open tray.. one guy spray's wd-40 on his motor for the disk drive bcuz it wasnt spinning right.. which i did not do... bcuz mine was spinning okay when i tested it after taking it apart... another guy said to make sure your lense in next to the spinner becuz alotta of times people will open the tray and just use the power button to

turn off the xbox instead of closing the tray with the eject button before shutting down and the lense will not slide back into the starting position so i checked the spinner which had no resistence and then sprayed all the dust out of the inside of my xbox and then set the lense where the guy on the video said to place it and put it all back together and it works just fine

Hey everybody it might be something with your harddrive so take it off.... Play any game without it... Don't dispose the xbox update..... Load the disk..... Put ur harddrive in.... Restate your xbox and it might work it did for me
