Mine was laying on her back on my arm, so I started unfurreling her gliding web, she didn't mind at all, started cleaning herself, it doubles their size. The male we had would c get out of his cage at night, then climb up the curtains, wait till you came in the room and would glide over to you, talk about a scare in a dark room.
what if you just turned into the weather report - had no clue about the glider being there - and just see occasional views of a small furry thing attached the the guy's neck. i would be pretty damn confused
If it really was distressed it would make those squawks they make and jump off the people. I wouldn't recommend throwing it like that, but she wasn't trying to risk its safety.

They aren't throwing the glider. It was on the end of their hand and as they were extending it the little guy was already in the process of jumping.
