He listened to his inner wisdom and I believe he had saved more than a life. Something so positive happens when you witness any act of kindness, but when you witness someone saving a complete strangers life as if they were their own family it can change the way people think and positively alter humanity as we know it.

I didn't think the laughter was unjustified. Everyone loves a hero, and I am sure everyone admired what he had done. By this time, even the man himself had a little fun with it. I don't think that has any bearing on the act itself, just the way it was being told by the time of the show. Either way it was a real heroic thing to do, and I wish that people felt and acted the way that he did.
