A chapter of my dissertation a few years back was about Francis Bacon's paintings and the influence on Last Tango in Paris (aside from the obvious portraits used at the beginning of the film). Bacon and his work reverberate throughout the film - themes and styles etc. Does anybody think his crucifixion pieces influenced the creation of Alien?
My idea is very simple : I just think they are the same as depression, sadness .....Perhaps Bacon's suppressed anger is not comparable with Chopin's beautiful sadness.
im not trying to abuse your work, i quite like it actually, seeing chopin and bacon together is a very open minded way of portrayal, i was just saying that, altough his work would suite a more intense sound, you have done a good job of this :).

Frederic Chopin, the art by Francis Bacon, both blend beautifuly, his art does certainly depict human sadness, depression and loneliness. I love it.
