  • what a painter....

  • sad tune :(

  • Francis influenced the creation of more than you and I know.

    Enough said...

    Jenna.

  • you can actually feel his loneliness!

  • :( :(

  • Frederic Chopin, the art by Francis Bacon, both blend beautifuly, his art does certainly depict human sadness, depression and loneliness. I love it.

  • A chapter of my dissertation a few years back was about Francis Bacon's paintings and the influence on Last Tango in Paris (aside from the obvious portraits used at the beginning of the film). Bacon and his work reverberate throughout the film - themes and styles etc. Does anybody think his crucifixion pieces influenced the creation of Alien?

  • maybe, but all of his arts influenced the game silent hill and one of monster in this game called "lying figure"

  • very solid and interestingly pleaseant you should check out my Blue Phoenix drawing!

  • very solid and interestingly pleaseant you should check out my Blue Phoenix drawing!

  • simple question- why was he considered to be genius? i don't get it

  • What is the name of the music in the background?

  • a Chopin, also played in the opening scenes of Roman Polanski's The Pianist.

  • do you have the full version of this music?

  • a posthumous Chopin nocturn in C# minor

  • chopin and bacon, strange mix, almost makes his paintings appear more meloncholy, prehaps some stephan grapelli.

  • My idea is very simple : I just think they are the same as depression, sadness .....Perhaps Bacon's suppressed anger is not comparable with Chopin's beautiful sadness.

  • im not trying to abuse your work, i quite like it actually, seeing chopin and bacon together is a very open minded way of portrayal, i was just saying that, altough his work would suite a more intense sound, you have done a good job of this :).
