yeah i have had many times playing when my cats are playing with each other and they often have that puffed up, sideways walk thing going on too... but the body language, vocals and facial expressions are different when they are playing. this poor cat was clearly scared... *peacelove*

No, this cat is not playing. However, maybe this is the first time the cat saw the towel wrapped around this persons, or maybe that person was playing to hard and the cat didn't like it, but he or she is definetly on the defense here. And, yes, I too have seen those playing situations where they pounce and stalk and role around. This cat, however, looks like he is not having fun and this person should see that and stop antagonizing the animal.

@mickfinnegan Look at the cat and see how healthy it is, how safe its surroundings are, and how good of a life it has in previous videos. Cats can hiss when they play. Two of my cats will beat each other up without using claws and puff themselves up, right before they go to sleep on top of one another. If a cat really hates something done by its owner, wouldn't it run off rather than continue swatting at it? No cat is being abused or hurt in any way in this video.

Please... The cat may have been all puffed up and putting on a show, but it could have run away and hidden, if it really was scared. I had a cat and we'd sometimes play this game; I'd crouch down behind something at the end of the hall, and he'd do these mock attack charges at me, running sideways with fur puffed out to look big. And just as he got close, he'd turn around and bolt back down the hall... and repeat until tired. It was a lot of fun, and no one was scared or being abused.
